Veterinary Referral & Critical Care Reviews
On New Year’s Day I woke up to find my cat lethargic and semi unresponsive. I called VRCC and I was able to bring him in right away. I was nervous because I had not used this emergency vet before and I have had a bad experience with the other ER vet in Richmond. Thankfully VRCC is totally different than the other ERs.My cat has been in the ICU now for two days and is doing much better thanks to their care. Dr. van Beek is an incredible vet. She is so hardworking and is very dedicated to her patients. You can tell she truly cares. Any time I’ve called to get an update she will hop on the phone and talk to me. They’ve allowed me to come and visit my cat morning or night- they will set aside a room and give me as much time as I would like. The technicians I’ve spoken with are kind and super informative. Mindy the ER coordinator was so personable and thorough going over estimates and treatment plans. She answered any questions or concerns I had.I truly could not ask for a better place for my cat to be. Finding veterinary hospitals like here is really rare. I know that my cat is in good hands with them.
Jan 03, 2025 · BDr. Clarke is an amazing surgeon! Him & his staff are all very professional & friendly. Our dog couldn't use her back legs at all & she was taken into surgery the same day that we to her to VRCC. Dr. Clarke personally called us 2 times everyday with updates on her post op. I would trust them with any one of my 3 dogs any day. If we could give them more than 5 stars we would.
May 06, 2025 · Angie PowersBrought my dog in during the week due to profuse bleeding from the mouth and no other vets around Richmond would take him which was infuriating. Turned out to be a tongue bite, but as you can see from the pictures the tongue can bleed a lot. Vet sedated him and stitched him up. Friendly service, good communication, and fair pricing.
Jun 17, 2024 · Brenden ShiflettI highly recommend this clinic. We have taken three of our pets here over the last several years and have had a great experience each time. Dr. Anna Aman was patient, kind and thorough. She did a phenomenal job on the surgery. She went above and beyond to ensure the health of our pets.
May 19, 2025 · K YoungI cannot recommend Dr. Clark enough. He is understanding, empathetic and professional in guiding his patients (and their parents) through incredibly difficult situations. He provides context with plenty of detail and never makes you feel rushed when speaking with him.Not only was he thorough in the information he provided, but he also understands that the emotional state of those visiting require a calm demeanor when delivering it.If your pet needs a neurologist, I would highly recommend them to see Dr Clark.
