Jan 29, 2025 · Jeff FrameDr Matthews is absolutely amazing. I feel like her blend of traditional and holistic approaches means that she looks for the root cause before prescribing medications. Very different from other experiences I’ve had with veterinarians! Highly recommend.
Sep 18, 2024 · Paul VenutiHi brought my German shorthaired pointer to them when he had some accidents and they were amazing! Dr. Matthews has the perfect balance of holistic and western medicine mindset. The staff is all very attentive and caring. I don’t live close now but it’s worth the drive!
Jul 25, 2023 · Dr. Duke LovetereI recently moved to the area and needed a new vet for my best friend. I had her paperwork sent from the previous vet and scheduled her wellness appointment, understandably several months out.My girl had an issue the required more immediate attention. The staff got her right in.As we waited in the exam room with the door open, and my dog clearly under stress, every staff member who walked by stopped in to say something kind to her to relive her anxiety.Dr Mathews came in with a calm professional competence that instantly put us more at ease. She thoroughly and gently examined Lucy, found the problem and, along with my input (unheard of), figured a treatment plan.In the following days, I had 2 follow up calls from Dr Mathews and a very quick response from Zoey (forgive me if I misspelled it) when I had a question. My little partner is my treasure, my medicine, my bff and deserves only the best of care and we found it.I could not recommend Village Vet any higher.I wish I could find a Dr that treats humans with the same care and respect.
