Petco Reviews
Come into buy/save a couple saltwater fish. Was told they can’t catch fish 30 mins before closing due to needing to leave at 7. Showed up at 6:30. Interesting policy. Won’t be back for more fish or pet supplies.Employees were rude when I asked why, they said it was due to Petco policy. “Usually”Tanks were poorly maintained - sad to see animals in there wasting away.If you going to sell animals you need to be more responsible on the care / treatment of them.
May 26, 2025 · Jason StarksI was at Petco for my usual treat run and picked up some dental treats for my small dogs. I was in a hurry and didn't realize that I grabbed the treats for large dogs. (We have chihuahuas). I checked out, and the girl used my rewards on my purchase without asking me if I wanted to use them. (I don't usually use them and leave them for my daughter to use for her animals) A few days later, I went to exchange the large treats for the small ones, got to the register and she told me it would be $21 something. I asked why it wouldn't be an even exchange and she said the rewards were gone. I questioned her again, she went and asked another employee and was told that's how it is. So, becareful you pick up the right product because if not, you're going to be stuck with it. Absolutely ridiculous that they can't just do an even exchange!!
Jun 10, 2025 · Vivian HeinI inherited a crested gecko. I know nothing about them. I went into Petco to make sure I have the right set up and how to feed it etc. The employees are very informative and helpful. I really appreciated all their insight. They told me I needed to buy a heat lamp and crickets.
May 10, 2025 · Andrea KTook my dog to get groomed today, went to pick him up, and they told me my dog tried to bite them, and that he wouldn't stop shaking. My dog has never bitten anyone, nor has any groomer said any such thing. Wonder why he was shaking so much, no groomer never told me that either. His hair is all chopped up, they didn't trim his toe nails or the hair on his feet. He looks like a plucked chicken with slippers. They did not charge me, but I have to get this fixed. Don't think it was my dog, but the qualifications of the groomer. Humble opinion.
Mar 15, 2025 · Marley McManusThis place is run very poorly. They should consider changing out their management. Businesses run on communication and setting expectations. This location lacks in both areas. Please support other pet supply companies and groomers in Castle Rock before using them.
