June 21 · Sam SDo NOT USE this vet clinic if you love your animals. My daughter brought in her very sick cat for an emergency visit on Tuesday... They did blood work on the cat, and told her the vet would get back with her in the afternoon... NO ONE DID...These "vets" do not care about your animal. At the very minimum, they owe my daughter ALL her money back and an apology. She is now taking her cat to a reputable clinic and incurring more vet fees. This office should be ashamed of how they have treated her and her animal. She happily paid and followed their lead, and STILL HAS NOT HEARD FROM THE VET on the bloodwork that was done. They just forwarded it to her. Like she knows what it means???You are supposed to be helping animals that cannot speak for themselves. This is the most pathetic service I have ever heard of. I may not know how to file a public complaint, but I will be figuring it out today. This will do as a start.
August 14 · Mary PalmaMy dog had a cut on her foot pad and I realized I needed to have a vet look at it. As it turned out Animal Hospital Southwest had late hours on Tuesday evening. Dr. Leslie was very caring and informative about her injury and what I could do to continue her at home treatment. Maggie is well on her way to recovery! The staff was very kind and welcoming. I plan on switching to Animal Hospital Southwest for my dog's care going forward.
May 24 · Allie PersonOn January 9, 2024 Dr. Morris made my dog deaf by jamming pointed metal tool into his ears, presumably to clean them with the small piece of cotton held in the tool that looked like needle now pliers at the end. This was after I told him my dogs ears were back to perfect shape after another vet there had given him medicine for an ear infection a month prior. I was testing my dogs hearing by whispering the name of his favorite treat, and his hearing was perfect 5 minutes prior to Dr. Morris deafening my dog. Hear was so important to my dog, because he had been blind of years, and he used hearing to echolocate to get around, jump up on furniture, walk directly to people talking to him. You couldn't even tell he was blind before Dr. Morris deafened him. I could tell something was wrong right away when my dog started whining, which he never did before that day. After that day, my dog couldn't get around very well, and his muscles weakened from lack of use until they were eventually useless. My dog's last year+ of life should not have been like this. I hope this helps someone to avoid this place and go find a real vet. For the prices this place charges, things like this should never happen.
June 22 · Dee RThis place was amazing! The staff was friendly and professional. I went about 15 minutes early and they put me and my fur babies in a room immediately. Didn’t wait long for Dr. Morris! He was gentle and sweet to my dogs. The treatment he recommended is working beautifully! We rescued a dog from a shelter and they don’t even charge for an exam fee on these dogs! Anyways being a new pet parent I didn’t know that you are supposed to keep rescue dogs away from the dogs you already have so they both ended up with Kennel cough. They are on the mend thanks to Dr. Morris and his friendly staff! I cannot thank them enough and I highly recommend this animal hospital for your pets needs.
