★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr. Ash and the entire staff at Aspen Grove are simply amazing! They’re very compassionate and trustworthy. They go out of their way to communicate every detail of aftercare. They offer several options to care for your pet but also stay within your budget. I truly believe this organization should teach any of the other veterinarians in Northern Colorado the RIGHT way to do business. before coming in here, I was about to put my dog down because the only options I was getting would have put us homeless and penniless. How is a person supposed to take care of their beloved four legged baby. Thank you to all the staff at Aspen Grove, I will never take my sweet Wrigley anywhere else! 🥰🐾🥰🐾
March 13 · Laurie RodfongWent here to get a health certificate from a USDA certified vet so I could move internationally with my cat. AVOID THEM, ESPECIALLY FOR THIS.When I took my cat in for her exam 10 days prior to my flight, they told me I had called and canceled the appointment, saying I no longer need the travel certificate. I hadn’t. I checked my phone records, email, voicemail, everything. The only communication I’d had with them since setting up that appointment was a confirmation. They ended up being able to squeeze me in after having to wait about an hour and a half. Then, at check out, because they mistakenly canceled the appointment, they told me the $150 deposit I had already paid could not count towards the balance, and I would need to pay it again. They said if I called at a later date, they might be able to refund the original deposit but couldn’t make any promises. At this point, I’m a little annoyed and grumpy about the extra charge, but whatever, it’s fine, at least I’ll get my cat’s health certificate… right?Fast forward 8 days, it’s Friday afternoon, my flight is Monday afternoon. To get to the airport with enough time for everything, I need to leave my house at noon on Monday… and the health certificate still has not even shipped. I’m a little anxious, so I call Aspen Grove. They check it out and tell me it’s been signed and approved, and will be put in the mail that night with one-day delivery. It’s coming via UPS, and I know that in order for them to deliver on Saturdays the sender needs to select that and pay an extra fee. So I explain this and ask, “are you sure it will be delivered Saturday and not Monday? Because I live at the end of the UPS route, and if it goes out Monday it won’t get here until at least 5pm.” They assure me that of course they included Saturday delivery, everything will be fine, and I’ll get it the next day. You’ll never guess what happens! They in fact did not include Saturday delivery, the document is held at a UPS distribution center all weekend, while me and multiple people try to balance packing for an international move with navigating UPS call centers seeing if there’s any possible way to get this thing earlier than 5pm Monday.Fast forward to Monday, we’re all packed and ready to go by noon, have been constantly trying to call UPS since they opened. The best we’re able to do is sit around for 4 hours with the suitcases packed, waiting for a call back from a supervisor who’s trying to contact the driver who said she’d call back within the hour.We end up having to completely reschedule our flight, deal with the consequences of the new flight information now not matching the vet paperwork, and reschedule everything we’ve set up to start living in the new country (picking up keys to our new place, municipality registration, etcetera). In response to this, Aspen Grove oh so helpfully sent me an email saying “we can’t do anything, but we found the tracking number for the package. Hope this helps!”I already had this tracking number. In fact, they gave it to me after the appointment they mistakenly canceled, when they purchased the shipping label without Saturday delivery.Massively disappointed by my experience with this vet office and their desire to offer any helpfulness or reconciliation whatsoever for their numerous screw ups.
August 18 · Max ThompsonReally good place with good people, I've taken my cat there for his prescription food and I had my dog put down there. Honestly would recommend this place to anyone, however a warning is that they aren't very good on their media front. You can email them and won't be hear back. I've been going for over a year now and since first going, they had my pets under someone else's name. I asked them to change it, they said they did... Then I put my dog down and all the last names on her file are under someone else's name. Asked them to change that and they said they would. Fast forward, I made a new client file for a cat that I guess was under a different name because instead of making my new client profile, they just one again put that him under the other person's name. Just today I had to call in because they said there's no pet profile that matches my pet for his prescription food, meaning that after asking multiple times and even making my own profile, they still kept his name under this other persons name. A person I don't know anymore, who may have been getting my information. So again, really good place and good people but don't expect them to be on top of their internet stuff...
July 05 · Maxwell RookI took both of my dogs there for care and it was a mess. My 1 dog was brought in for a UTI and they couldn't figure it out. 3 different exams and 3 different medications and still didn't fix the UTI. They gave me some meds that were over $200 and my dog threw them up instantly with food. They refused to refund me after just 1 dosage, refused to credit my account. I requested to speak with the manager multiple times and they refused to talk to me. Dr Bobby hid behind his vet techs.I brought in my puppy for bloody stool and they give me dewormer. Bloody stool came back after dewormer meds and Dr Bobby told me roundworms don't cause bloody stool. He also didn't know why my puppy tail was going bold and wanted to do test. Well according to my friend its because he has worms and worms cause bloody stool and baldness on the tail. He needed another dosage of meds to fix that issues and another exam fee. I then took him in for his booster shots and my puppy got sick and threw up his food multiple times. after that I lost all confidence of their profession and I asked my good friend that's a dentist and he told me to get a shot of ondansetron. The vet tech refused to give a shot of ondansetron and wanted to do a $400+ exam. Never once have I spoken to the manager or Dr. I walked out and went to CSU and they gave him the shot of ondansetron and he's doing great.Dr Bobby is incompetent. Hides behind his vet techs and seems to lack experience from common symptoms. He'll charge you to test for some rare disease that's found in Africa. My dentist is a better veterinarian than him.
March 29 · Brambo ParentWe've gone to aspen grove for about 7 years and we've always had great experiences. All the staff go above and beyond. Our dog has had exceptional care.
