Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
We love Banfield! Our Corso is a nervous guy he’s a very good boy just a little vocal as he thinks he has to be a tough guy. Everyone who handled him was so sweet though and I could hear them giving him lots of love and praises when he went back to get his blood work done. He did amazing with them because they did amazing with him. We only will deal with the staff here for now both our dogs. ❤️

Feb 11, 2025 · joyce crouseBest experience I've ever had at a vet. My dog is very reactive to other dogs and they were very friendly and accommodating in the intake process and also during the visit. They even brought in a bowl of water for my dog. At one point my dog spilled some water on the floor and when I wiped it up with paper towels the towels were still white when I was done bc the floor was so clean. They even handled my dog growling with more professionalism than I've experienced at other vets. They were able to examine my dog and come up with a plan of action very proficiently and quickly and I wasn't there for several hrs waiting to be seen, and waiting in the exam room. I would recommend this pet hospital for all your pet's needs over any others I've ever been to in the last 30 years.
Apr 26, 2025 · Jason KlimcheckWhile I don’t usually leave reviews, I thought this may be important for other pet owners to be aware of. I brought my 3yo cat in to Banfield at Caste Village for an annual visit on June 23, with some concerns about his recent behavior. He had been diagnosed with FeLV around 1yo, and I knew that infections or other illnesses could cause significant issues for him, if not kill him, when not caught early. I let them know my concerns (not keeping his food down, increased lethargy). They weighed him in at 12lb (which was considered ideal to overweight and was a 3lb increase for him). They said they’d run his bloodwork and call me if anything looked off. I never received a phone call. I continued to notice the lethargy and not keeping food down. A little over a week later, I looked on the app to see if I could find the lab results since I hadn’t received any communication, and something felt off. He had a few values that were below average, but, again, I had not received a phone call, email, etc. That day, I came home to finding him in respiratory distress and had to rush him to the ER. There, he weighed in at 6.6lb, half of what he allegedly was a week prior. The ER took a scan of him and noticed extreme amounts of fluid around his lungs and said he probably had a very aggressive illness, most likely cancer. He was at the point where he had to open-mouth breath and it still was not enough. I had to put him down unexpectedly that evening. The outcome was likely not preventable. However, only a week prior to putting him down, I was given information that his weight was fine and, as far as I am aware, was never notified about anything with his bloodwork or how to follow-up. I have used Banfield for multiple pets and have appreciated the ease of scheduling and the ease of having a wellness plan. However, this experience was extremely unfortunate - the outcome would not have been different, but better communication/care may have prevented my pet’s suffering.
Jul 04, 2025 · Alexis PihokerMy first time there was a couple weeks ago. I couldn’t of been happier. All the techs that were part of Ara’s appointment were absolutely awesome. Everyone just doted over my puppy and showed so much care. The appointment went well and can’t wait for the next. Very caring and compassionate staff. Would definitely recommend..
