★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- This little lady decided she would go out the door & chill in the porch yesterday In the 99° heat without asking me first! Needless to say I found her 30 minutes later, & she was over heated & minutes away from a nightmare! My vet was full & sent me here. Not far from home I soaked her with Luke warm water, got In car floored it! What a wonderful Vet! Got me in asap & made sure she was okay & her temperature lowered soon after. So glad our City is getting more veterinarians, we need them!! They are open till 9:00, & prices are really good! My 14 year old English Bulldog seems to be back to normal. But she is grounded (yea right 🤪) August 19 · Melanie L
- I brought my neighbor’s cat in today for an abscess on his back paw, and the staff was so nice. It was very busy in there but they all had really good positive attitudes which is always appreciated! The vet was also so nice, I could tell that she really loves animals and loves her job. - This is our baby girl Becca, aka “Turd”. (And yes, she knows and answers to BOTH, lol.) Becca got really sick at the end of May. She was running a fever, was refusing to eat but still drinking and was lethargic. The vet we had been going to was closed when we decided to take her in so I began looking at reviews and this clinic had been receiving wonderful testimonies! I hope I’m spelling her name correctly, but Dr. DeRyke and staff simply could NOT have been any better! They were compassionate, concerned, accommodating and most importantly KNOWLEDGEABLE! I’m trying to not make this so long but it almost has to be so that you get the whole picture. After testing and a very serious consultation, we transferred her to the Veterinary ER off of Zero Street for around the clock treatment and observation for Saturday night and Sunday night. Our baby girl (she’s nine years old this month, July, but to us she’s our baby) was septic and the professionals were uncertain as to the contributing origin. Broad spectrum antibiotics along with fluids and almost constant observation took place over the weekend. She wasn’t showing signs of much improvement so my husband and I were having VERY difficult conversations until we spoke with one of the vets at the ER who told us “we’re not quite to that point yet”. THAT phrase was the boost that our emotions needed! We discharged and brought her home Monday and she was still very wobbly and not eating but we were enjoying our “Becca time” since she’d been gone all weekend! When we saw Dr. DeRyke again that day, we agreed in an outpatient treatment plan to address not only her physical needs to be addressed while at the clinic but her (and OUR) mental health needs by being at home and getting belly rubs and snuggles! I’ll wrap it up here by saying that by Wednesday, she was eating some and able to go outside and walk some! She was completely discharged to at home care with a bottle of antibiotics.I know this has been a long review to read and I apologize. I just want to convey that this was not an “easy” case, yet the doctor and her staff were simply the best I’ve ever witnessed and I’m 61 years old and have pets my entire life! Doc and her staff are welcome to our home for Thanksgiving and Christmas, lol! We have three other fur babies who are in the process of transferring to her care. Our previous vet did NOTHING wrong so I won’t even mention their name here! It’s just that this clinic has THE BEST PEOPLE, hands down!Doc and staff, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! 😘 ♥️ July 05 · DeLayne Rooks
- On May 16th I brought my miniature Schnauzer Duke in for an emergent situation. He had a serious accident and was hurt really bad. They started treating him right away with shock therapy, oxygen and fluids. My sweet pup was in rough shape and after they let me know a fully detailed layout of what my options were, we opted for surgery to see if there was anything that could be done. They walked me to the back and let me see him and love on him and I could tell he was still in shock and in pain. They told me they would start surgery in about 20 minutes. I paid for everything and then left. About 15 minutes after I left they called me to tell me he started getting agnal (taking last breaths) and they didn't want him to suffer so they went ahead and euthanized him so he wouldn't suffer. They could tell how much Duke meant to me. When I got back to pick him up, they let me have some time with him after he passed to just say goodbye. They let me know they gave him comfort and told him how loved he was. He was very much in the best hands possible. They reimbursed me most of the money I spent for the surgery he never had. They got me a little glass jar with his hair and a piece of paper with his name and paw print on it. I will forever be thankful to this veterinarian clinic for giving my sweet Duke the comfort and treatment he needed in his last few hours of life. I 1000% recommend this place for your sweet fur babies. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I can't thank them enough! June 03 · Danielle Anderson
- We got our new puppies first round of shots and wellness check done on a Saturday. Call around, very few places willing to do that on the weekend and out of all places this business is pulling through. They even blessed our puppy with a take home bag. It had a blanket, food, treats, a toy, and a tick pill. They made sure we left knowing they gave us their best quality! April 16 · Shane Morris
