Gardner Animal Care Center Reviews
We were pretty blown away by the responsiveness, thoroughness and care of the staff at GAC. The neutering we had scheduled for our one and a half year old Golden Retriever at another vet was unexpectedly canceled (due to illness, so no one's fault) two days before the surgery. The wait list there was over two and a half months long. We called GAC and they were able to offer us the procedure on the same day ours had been planned (that may have been luck that they could do that). They saw us the day we called for a pre-op and did the surgery as scheduled. Throughout (and since) they were/have been wonderful - caring and always getting back to us quickly and giving us all the information and explanations we needed. As far as we can tell the surgery went beautifully and Jasper is recovering well, although we're less than two days out. Didn't hurt that they had very positive things to say about his appearance and personality 😁! The only reservation is that the cost of care seemed a bit high, and they redid bloodwork that had been done a few days past the three month guideline which we didn't realize until after it had been done. But the quality of care and the opportunity to have the surgery done when scheduled (after we had cleared our calendars to be available during recovery) made it worth it. Highly recommend.
Mar 08, 2025 · Douglas WI had brought my cat into Gardner animal Care center for some skin condition issues. The staff checked me in promptly and I only had to wait for about 5 minutes before being brought into an exam room. The woman who we were first introduced to was very kind and gentle when it came to getting my cat out of her carrier, she was all about taking our time and making sure the animal was comfortable. Once the doctor came in to examine my cat she was very knowledgeable and got straight to the point, she didn't try to push other products or services on to me she just genuinely cared about making sure my cat got better. I was able to get an estimate of services before continuing and was also offered the option of a payment plan if need be but thankfully the prices were reasonable and I was able to continue with no issues. Since this visit my cat is doing much better and I was very pleased when I received a text a few days after the appointment asking how my cat was doing. That really shows the care that The Gardner animal Care center has.
