GoodVets The Wharf Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had a great appointment with them back in June. Thought they were great, and I was happy to have a vet nearby.I have since tried reaching out to them to get my dog's medication renewed, and it's been radio silence. Several emails and phone calls have been made, but no one has responded. I suppose they're no longer open? I don't know. But it's frustrating, and now I'll have to get him into a new vet just to get his meds renewed. Waste of money. Also, they are NOT at the Wharf. They're at the Waterfront Metro stop. I'm not sure why they advertise otherwise.
August 21 · Amie WoeberMy wife and I Retuned to find all the previous staff that made this place once my pets primary vet home gone. And I see why. This place has turned into a complete money grab. The new Dr Ermolavea (spelling) is horrid! She is rude and carries a very condescending tone. She literally try's to force things on your pet and make you feel like crap! The previous staff and Doctor Nafisi were so compassionate and never mad this about money. This is truly sad. I can tell this new doctor just wants your money and couldn't care less about your actual concerns. And do they even have staff? They have the Doctor answering phones, nobody at the desk, doctor doing exams alone…like who works here? They are closed half of the time but advertised to be open. I have been trying to get my records for weeks to switch to a more reliable and compassionate vet with no response. Even went to the place 3 different times and doors are locked. Do better or close. And while you are at it, change the name because there is nothing “Good” about what you are running!
August 24 · Mike OlanDo you know the feeling when you've been looking and looking for a place that completely fits -- that soothes you, supports you, encourages you -- a place that feels like home because you and whom you love (your beautiful fur baby) are received with the utmost care? Well, this is GOODVETS on the Wharf. Our dog has been so anxious to visit the vet that we've had to give him a tranquilizing protocol, muzzle him, AND completely sedate him for any regular procedures, like his physical and shots. From the sweet and welcoming front desk person, Ceheirra, the super kind and knowledgeable vet, Dr. Sharma, and our AMAZING TECH, Natasha -- who was more of an animal whisperer, truly -- because she calmed our dog into a state where he allowed them to do EVERYTHING without missing beat. He was cuddly and sweet the whole time. The care at this place is unbeatable. This is more than a review, it's heartfelt thanks. We are committed to this new medical home for our fur baby.
February 26 · Maria ClaudiaThe experience was good. Despite James Evans being terrified…they handled him with kid gloves.Critique: The prices are high, it would be good to be given pet insurance options to reduce pricing. We all want the best for our fur babies…affordable pet care should be made accessible to ensure their health.
November 04 · Nea B. NyceThey are the best. A poor kitty showed up at my house. He was scared and under weight. He was so sweet that I decided to keep him. I took him to Good Vets for a wellness check and neuter and the staff new exactly how to handle a scared kitty. I named him Rags and today he is a fat and happy kitty living the good life!
