★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I brought my cat in a few days ago when she randomly got really sick. We arrived at 7:30am and I didn’t have a carrier and they didn’t mind at all. They took her back right away and let me stay in a room while I got updates. Eventually it was determined that she really was so sick and declining. The staff brought me into a room with a couch and I got to hold her as the vet gave her medicine. The euthanasia was so peaceful and I couldn’t have asked for anything else from that process. They let me stay in the room with her until I was ready. She was my soul cat and my first pet I got in adulthood and it was a hard goodbye for me. Seeing and feeling the compassion made it feel less lonely. I’ll be forever grateful for the kindness with every staff member that was with me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping Quinn move on in the most beautiful way.
August 27 · Elena TobinA stray my husband and I had bonded with over the past couple of months was very sick. Due to her state the Doctor agreed humane euthanasia would be a kindness. The whole staff made the transition very easy, they were kind, comforting, and understanding. We brought her paw print and a piece of her fur home, a very special thank you to Morgan for making sure her paw prints looked beautiful. I’m glad we were able to do her one last kindness after having lived such a hard life, and I am so thankful to everyone at GLVC for being so amazing during that difficult moment ❤️
August 01 · Karsyn EisenzimmerOur pup got sick out of the blue and passed shortly after we arrived. It was absolutely heartbreaking and this office and everybody inside were absolutely wonderful and compassionate. My husband felt safe and comfortable enough to actually feel how he was feeling without worrying. I never expected to get a hand written card, blew us out of the water. We will forever be grateful to these people. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. -Perez/Rugg family. 💕
June 25 · Kayla Perez (Kayla Nicole)I will always come to GLVC for any future pet emergencies I might have.Get this: Easter weekend, Cooper (aus. shep.) decided to have 3 cluster seizures & his normal medication wasn't helping. Called GLVC & let them know he wasn't recovering. Once I got there, they stabilized him & reassured me he was going to recover. While he was getting IV meds and all their love, I went home to bring back Dende (shar-pei), to get xrays due to an obstructed bowel. The doctor gave him medication and fluids & we left Cooper overnight to rest.Easter morning, I bring back Dende for repeat xrays and sure enough, surgery was very much needed. The poor boy had swallowed a squeaker and he was miserable. Both Cooper & Dende are home & healing nicely.I will never think twice about prices for an emergency. Just add that to the debt ceiling 😉
