Please please take time to read the bad reviews they are here for a reason! Green Glen Equine is the only vet service I have used since they were recommended by a friend. They were great until we had an incident happen. They had came to do an ultrasound on our horse. That day our horse was outside tied up to a tree right by our house feet away. The doctor usually has helpers. The helper took over the horse. She untied the horse from the tree where she was at -they did what they needed to do. At the end of the visit she tied her back up and we both went our way. Never thinking she had tied her up incorrectly! We worked around the house outside feet away from our horse when we glanced over our horse was strangulating herself. This was because she was tied incorrectly by the staff. I called on call service to have someone come out and check her because her eye was swollen , red and had discharge almost like tearing. The doctor on call almost sounded like she didn’t want to come because our horse sounded like she was fine because she was eating and walking normal! I asked her to come either way. By the time she called back because she had to go to another appointment it was dark outside and she stated if she would come they would charge us an emergency visit! I told her this was caused because your staff didn’t tie her up correctly. I asked her not to come because it was dark and MAYBE she would get better tomorrow. I asked her to have her manager call me in the morning also because she stated her staff was capable and competent of taking care of horses. The next morning our horse did not get better and I called right away. I spoke to the manger and the manger turned me away and said the same thing. That it wasn’t their staffs fault it was ours for not keeping an eye on her and leaving her unattended. Which again never had a. Issue until this “helper” tied her up incorrectly to the tree. We always had her in same place tied up and she was fine. They turned us away and referred us to another vet. Now I am stuck with a sick horse and another bill to pay! Thank god we caught her on time. Can’t imagine the worse. But unfortunately Green glen didn’t take and assume responsibility for staff actions. I asked for them to come at least and make sure she was okay! Terrible experience and customer service. Do not recommend them to anyone. - Carolina Flores
