I took my kitty there to get a lion cut and she ended up with an absess 3x the size of her right leg. They doctors said she almost died and if we didn't catch it that night she would of. She is a flame point Himalayan. Her skin turned black and may have to be skin graphed. You can her muscles. I can't explain to you. I took her for drop off at 730 and she wasn't done till 6 for a hair cut. She has this huge thing on her head and we had to take her to an emergency vet clinic at 11:30 pm at night. They kept her over night. They receptionist at heartland called me and said she had a anal infection. She was perfectly healthy going in. Indoor cat. I really wouldn't go there. 4 people was in waiting room and complaining. They didn't even offer to tell me what happen or help me with the vet bills. I'll try and add pics. - Jennifer Clevenger

Hartland Cat Hospital boasts several features and highlights that make it a distinctive and appealing choice for cat owners in Texas. One of its most significant advantages is its exclusive focus on felines. This specialization means the entire clinic environment, from the waiting room to the examination areas, is designed to reduce stress for cats. There are no barking dogs or other animal scents to agitate sensitive feline senses, creating a calm and reassuring atmosphere. This focus allows the staff to be highly attuned to feline behavior and health, often spotting subtle signs of illness that might be overlooked in a general practice.

The dedication of Dr. Hartland and her staff to cat care is consistently praised by clients. Reviews highlight the genuine "care about Cats" and the "love and respect" extended even to "spicy" felines, demonstrating a deep understanding of feline temperaments. The clinic's commitment to ensuring a positive experience is evident in details like providing toys for cats during their visit and their overall gentle handling techniques. Furthermore, Dr. Hartland's extensive experience, particularly in feline-only medicine, offers a depth of knowledge that provides confidence to cat owners seeking specialized expertise.

However, it is important to acknowledge that while many experiences are positive, some reviews indicate concerns. One review describes a serious complication following a grooming procedure, leading to an abscess and a life-threatening situation for the cat, along with a perceived lack of communication and support regarding the incident and associated veterinary bills. This specific feedback suggests that while the clinic generally strives for excellent care, as with any medical facility, unforeseen complications can arise, and communication during such times is crucial. Prospective clients are encouraged to discuss any concerns directly with the clinic and ensure a clear understanding of procedures and potential outcomes.

For direct contact, Hartland Cat Hospital can be reached at their primary phone number: (817) 354-7877. In conclusion, for cat owners residing in Euless and the broader Texas region, Hartland Cat Hospital offers a highly specialized and generally commendable option for veterinary care. Its feline-exclusive environment provides a less stressful experience for sensitive cats, and the staff's dedication to understanding and caring for felines is frequently lauded.
