High Ridge Animal Hospital Reviews
I have been bringing my pets to High Ridge Animal Hospital for the past three years. While I’ve always found the front staff and Dr. Shattuck to be kind and caring, I can no longer justify the exorbitant pricing for treatments. The final straw was being quoted $800 for an X-ray—more than double the $300 price offered by another veterinary clinic in the same zip code. Looking back, I feel like I’ve been overcharged by thousands over the years, and it has become clear that maximizing the bill is a priority here. Unfortunately, I will be taking my dogs elsewhere.
Feb 21, 2025 · B FI have been going here for years for my two female dogs. The doctors are AMAZING and my girls love them! My smaller yorkie just had surgery and had all her teeth removed. They treated her like a princess and explained every step to me. I would highly recommend High Ridge Animal Hospital for your fur babies.
Mar 14, 2024 · Krystal ValdovinosHad taken my cat to a different, cats-only, vet in Stamford a year ago and asked about my cat's low belly/pouch because something seemed off. They told me 'it's normal'. Fast forward a year later at High Ridge Animal Hospital, they just had to touch her belly once to know something was off too. Ended up being something that was growing for years and should've been diagnosed sooner due to the terminal prognosis of the ailment. Very glad I found the right vet, eventually. Would recommend for others, especially those with cats who are struggling to find a doctor that cares as much about the feline patients as she/he does about the dogs.
Jan 22, 2025 · Alexis WagonerGreat staff and doctors. Excellent care. I've been taking my animals to HRAH since childhood. Front desk staff are kind and friendly. Techs are compassionate and knowledgeable. The vets are exceptional and provide great care. Overall a great place to take your pet for routine care and overall wellness.
Jan 11, 2025 · l foxWe adore Dr. Shattuck and the staff at High Ridge. They are equally kind to both pet and owner. My dog Oliver loves the treats and attention he gets, and I’m so appreciative of their Fear Free approach to handling my little pup. Dr. Shattuck is so knowledgable, compassionate, and thorough, and she always takes her time in the exam room with us. I can’t recommend High Ridge enough!
