Lewis Small Animal Hospital Reviews
I suppose I don't wanna let the secret out - but I feel like this place is *so* slept on. I recently took my pup here with a neck injury from our other dog from rough play. They were recommended on Reddit. I was able to get into their 'urgent care' which was able to see me within an hour! Everyone I encountered was super nice and caring and knowledgeable. They cared so much about my pup! The pricing was in line with my normal vet - with the added benefit of being available at the drop of a hat. The wait was a little long, but can hardly be upset about that with the same day availability and such lovely caring folks. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.
Mar 01, 2025 · Joanna CullenMost compassionate staff around. Leading the field in veterinary advances and care. Clean lobby area with separate area for cats and dogs. Friendly techs, students and vets. You can't get better care than at the U of M. They take great care in accommodating dogs with special needs and made me feel welcome.
Mar 01, 2025 · Stephanie MaeThey have been our go-to emergency vet for the last 5 years whenever we had an issue with our aging dog. When it eventually came time for her to cross the rainbow bridge, they did everything they could to make her comfortable and let us grieve naturally. The average lifespan of a dog with her particular condition is about 6 months. We got an extra 5 years with her where her quality of life remained high. Many factors led to that outcome but this hospital played no small part in that. Could not recommend them enough.
Mar 27, 2024 · Ryan AndersonThe red head you have working in registration needs to learn a bit of empathy. We have spent over 2000 on our cat in the last 7 days. We ended up in ER with her last night. I saw on your website about financial assistance and I asked if I could speak to someone about it, the red head literally scoffed and said "we don't offer that, and you can't just expect it" I said I don't expect it, and that the website says that it MAY be a possibility not a guarantee. I just needed a little extra help. We walked out and went to Allied Vet ER instead. There we were met with kindness. Here's screenshots of what I found on YOUR site. Again, I wasn't demanding it, I simply asked if I could speak to someone about it. That woman last night should not have been so rude and cruel.
May 14, 2024 · Tri-Pod9-2024. Poor Daisy Mae has to visit here way to often. 1 week later.... Still waiting for ultrasound & urology test results. We pray at each visit things are okay. Most frustrating part of these appointments is not only the costs, but the wait..... ¯_(ツ)_/¯
