★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Mid-Valley Veterinary Hospital — Dr. Jose Choy is THAT guy.I brought my two sons, well, technically they’re dogs but don’t tell them that, Rocky and Brooklyn to Mid-Valley after Rocky started having an unfortunate gastrointestinal adventure (read: diarrhea and vomiting). And like true brothers, Brooklyn decided to join the party a day later. I’m guessing they shared more than just water. Thanks, boys. Our usual spot, Modern Animal, was booked solid, so they recommended Mid-Valley. And let me just say, what a blessing in disguise. From the moment we walked in, the whole staff was warm, welcoming, and totally on it. No cold stares or rushed vibes. Just genuinely good people who actually seemed happy to be helping.Enter Dr. Jose Choy. Calm, practical, no nonsense. He didn’t try to upsell me into a second mortgage worth of labs and meds. Instead, he assessed the situation, made solid recommendations, and explained everything clearly. A rare combo of competent and compassionate.Fast forward a few days, and my boys are back to their zoomie-loving, tail-wagging selves. I honestly couldn’t be more grateful. Dr. Choy and his team treated us like family, the kind that actually likes you.Mid-Valley has officially earned a spot in our emergency contacts. Thanks again, Dr. Choy and crew. You all are fantastic.
June 23 · Calvin WilliamsMid Valley Veterinarian is completely unprofessional and not worth your time or money. I went in back in April for a simple grooming clearance note. I did agree to vaccines — but I could have gone elsewhere for that. I chose to stay and paid almost $300 because I was assured I would receive the note I needed. It’s now July, and I still don’t have it. I called repeatedly and was constantly told, “We’ll leave a note” or “We’ll pass along the message.” Clearly, they didn’t. When I showed up in person, the staff looked at me like they had no idea what I was talking about. I was tired of them so I demanded their medical records and they refused to give me my dog’s medical records. Again, they said they’d follow up, and again — nothing. The only person who was honest and helpful was Rosalie or Rosalyn. She admitted that no one ever passed along my messages and that there was nothing noted in the system. After months of calling and showing up, she was the first person to tell me the truth. I finally got the records — but still no clearance note, which is the only reason I came in to begin with. Jessica, the manager, was supposedly the only one who could help, but she was never available. She either rarely shows up or avoids dealing with problems altogether. Also, this is the only clinic my dog has ever been to. So who else did they expect would write the clearance note? Their lack of logic and responsibility is beyond frustrating. Dr. Pitt was respectful and professional, but it doesn’t matter how good he is when the staff around him is this careless and disorganized. They wasted my time, took my money, and failed to provide a basic service. I would never come back — and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
July 09 · Dulce GonzalezAfter Mochi’s overnight, they told me his fever was gone, he’s eating, acting normal, etc. And they only suggested to keep him one more night just so the fever doesn’t relapse, BUT it’d be up to me and that he doesn’t need to. Plus they sent me home with antibiotics. When I visited him he seemed traumatized and out of it, and the vet tech kept assuring me he just went through a lot and is anxious. Did not recommend me to keep him after that point. So I decided to take him home with antibiotics and he’s never sprayed out of anxiousness but did in his carrier and just seemed super out of it. Right when he got home he was breathing super heavy and had a respiratory rate of 92, normally should be 20-30. Luckily no fever, but he is still extremely lethargic and there is no sedative in him to even contribute to this. When I called back the facility, they started to IMMEDIATELY point fingers and say that they suggested I kept him overnight so what did I expect. I’m honestly appalled, I did not initiate any type of blame when I called, I called to ask questions about his breathing and if I could still bring him in. They continued to tell me he’d be fine so I told them, you are not sitting here looking at his eyes roll around and struggle to breathe, he is NOT fine.Every place usually has some bad reviews from time to time, and I really wish I listened to the reviews. I was actually recommended to come here from another facility that was about to close. I’m sure Mid Valley Veterinary deals with angry owners, but rightfully so because they have the rude staff. Sorry, but they do. They made me feel bad for asking questions, huffing and puffing over me asking for different quotes, and brushed off Mochi’s health. So fast forward to today, he was admitted to a new hospital last night and he needed a procedure because he had water around his lungs and THAT is why he was breathing hard, not because he was anxious. His fever also returned and they are doing everything they can to figure out what’s wrong plus more. Mid Valley Veterinary Hospital did not care about him and just takes pets illnesses as a money grab. Please do yourself and your fur babies a service and do not take them there.
October 30 · Bryanna RomeroThis place is the best. I have been going to Dr. Pitt for over 20 years. And I always recommend him. (I should have frequent flyer miles lol) He is honest and listens to what you say and want. Recently I needed to say goodbye to my baby girl after 16 years and they never make you feel like your making the wrong decision 💔. Thanks Dr. Pitt and staff for always making life's hard decisions easier.
August 22 · SandyFresca whippet is so thankful for the great care during her broken foot recovery. Thank you for being open on Sunday and after work without emergency prices to help all of our pets. The staff and doctors are all very kind and don’t pressure sales that you don’t need, like VCA which is bad news. Fresca will be 100% better thanks to Mid Valley Vet! I appreciate that we can put our name on the list, wait in the car to be called and not have to be in the waiting room where other pets might find it stressful. We have never waited too long to be seen.
