★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The most troubling kind of dishonesty is taking advantage of someone during a time of desperation. Unfortunately, that is exactly what I experienced with Dr. Bruce Whitaker.I was referred to his clinic by an internal medicine specialist (a gastroenterologist) who had already taken an X-ray of my cat in preparation for an ultrasound. Despite having access to those recent results, Dr. Whitaker insisted on taking a new X-ray. He recommended to keep my cat for 24 hours and performed six additional X-rays. When I arrived at the clinic to pick up my cat, I was told that six more were needed. This conduct was not only unauthorized but completely unethical. In my opinion, this level of disregard for consent and the well-being of both the pet and the owner is unacceptable.I believe this kind of behavior warrants serious scrutiny, and I strongly question whether Dr. Whitaker should continue to practice under such conditions.
June 27 · Mae ZahirStaff & Doctors are knowledgeable & friendly. I highly recommend Newport Hills Animal Hospital, not only for seeing the vets but also for grooming & vacation boarding.
July 08 · Anita PestanoExceptional level of care and attention for animals. Both as a vet and animal hospital, I am really happy with the team and experience.
June 23 · Elyse RigolfiI cannot describe how deeply kind, thoughtful and caring this office is. From the vets and their medical knowledge, to the deeply kind and caring staff, this is the vet office you wish for your beloved pet family member. My dog passed here and the kindness, care and love they showed me any my dog will never be lost on me. What they did for us as he passed and after is one of the most incredible experiences I could ever describe as a dog mama. They not only know how to honor your pet, they know how to honor you. There is no playbook- it's just in the goodness of who they are. - Four years after my dog passed, they still bring up my beloved when I am there and talk to me about playing with him, caring for him and remembering him. I was there today with my new sweet dog and one person made a point tell me that she always sees my name and thinks of my dog who passed and wanted to tell me he was her favorite to hold and that she misses him. - This is an office filled with kind, loving, wonderful humans. Your family members who are dogs or cats will feel fully embraced and loved here. I adore this office, their staff and the vets. You will too.
May 30 · Angela ZieglerDr. Lyle is a godsend. He is so patient and takes his time to explain everything to you. He is an honest Dr who doesn’t try to sell you on procedures or tests your pup doesn’t need like a lot of vets that I’ve noticed. I highly recommend this place.
