Nexus Veterinary Specialists Reviews
Having an injured dog isn't an enjoyable experience but taking them to Nexus most certainly is!My Bully Prudence started limping this past spring and we found ourselves at both the urgent care vet and our primary vet. After some imaging, meds, and two weeks of exercise restrictions it was suggested that we go to an orthopedic specialist (and both vets recommended Nexus). The initial appointment request was easy as I could upload her imaging and notes from the vets on the Nexus website after which I received a phone call to set up an appointment.I was able to schedule the surgery the day of her initial consult and the drop off and preparation processes were explained to me. They have an app which is incredibly helpful- it tracks the days before and after surgery, letting you check in with your dog's progress and watch videos for the post-op exercises. The TPLO with Dr. Dycus was successful and Pru's recovery was as expected. Every single staff member we met at each visit was friendly and helpful- it's obvious that they love their jobs and the animals. We live in the neighborhood so now on our walks Prudence will stop across the street and stare at Nexus, hoping to either go in for a visit or that maybe someone will come out and say hi to her. Even if I lived 50 miles away instead of mere blocks I'd take my dog here and I will recommend them to every dog owner I know!
