Oradell Animal Hospital - Paramus Reviews
This place is amazing. They gave my pet a new opportunity and much better life quality after dealing with mega colon, which caused him many abdominal obstructions. Thanks to the team, he had his surgery and now he lives so happy, is very active for a 12 years old cat. He even walks every day to chase squirrels. I couldn’t be more grateful in how they treated my beloved pet Billy. Now he thrives!!
Apr 08, 2025 · grace garcesMy sister and I brought our cat, Bruce, here on 4/30 once we noticed he had been constipated and straining to pee. The front desk staff were lovely, they called for triage when we arrived and they quickly took him to the back to run some extra tests and see what the issue was. The doctor who attended to Bruce was Dr. Su and we can’t thank him enough, he was SO kind and caring. He took the time to explain the X-rays and imaging to us and made sure we understood what our options would be. Bruce was diagnosed with feline lower urinary tract disease; Dr. Su went over the diagnosis and symptoms with us, advised us of possible surgeries Bruce may have to get if he couldn’t fully empty his bladder, and also gave us antibiotics and painkillers to give to him while we waited to see if he could use the litter box without straining. Unfortunately, Bruce was unable to pass any urine so we had to get him scheduled for surgery asap and the team at Oradell were so efficient at getting him in quickly. He had surgery 5/1 and was released into our care the following day. The surgeon, Dr Desanto, removed multiple stones and crystals that, if we had waited any longer, could have turned into a bladder obstruction and become deadly. They were kind enough to neuter and microchip him as well during the surgery, which we did not expect to get done but we are so very grateful they did that for us. I also want to point out that they were able to work with us on the price of the surgery and made it so much more affordable for us. Also thank you to Dr Latini for following up with Bruce after his surgery and removing his stitches. Bruce is now back to his happy self and we can’t thank the Oradell team enough for saving our little guy!!
May 21, 2025 · Karina MarieGreat experience. I took my dog to get a certificate to travel abroad… process was smooth and very professional. Doctor was amazing, explained all in detail. Nurses are very nice, polite, professional and good sense of humor. Check out fast and happy. Place is clean and better than hospital for people lol literally. Keep the great work!!!
Jun 24, 2025 · Andres MendozaAll about the money for them. While there are some very good doctors and staff, bottom line is money. They billed us five months after visit (they had computer problems) but seriously five months later. Meanwhile out dog had passed. I don't think did all the tests they billed us. No flexibility and took no responsibility for their computers being down and for theirtardiness in billing. Client relations is the worst. In order to keep my good credit, I am forced to pay. Avoid Oradell Animal Hospital!response from Megan, Client Relations from a previous site says she made every effort. She did not! only wanting me to sign a payment plan and sending it to collections after having received one bill notice. Not sensitive to losing my pet. Did more tests than needed and since billing was so late, I cannot even be sure they did testing I was charged.
May 22, 2025 · Eileen BassiMy experience with the staff and pet services has been very positive so far. They’ve provided good care for my cat, and when my dog became seriously ill, the team was compassionate and supportive during an incredibly difficult time. More recently, I brought home a new puppy, and once again, the level of care and service has been good.My only concern is that the call line can be unreliable at times. I understand that staff availability and other factors can make it difficult to provide timely updates. Still, as a pet owner, it can be really tough not being able to get through to someone to get even a brief check-in—especially when my pet is hospitalized. At the end of a stressful day, all I’m hoping for is a little reassurance that my pet is comfortable or improving. Hospitalizations are never easy, and are stressful for both the animals and their families. Even a quick update can make a big difference.
