VCA Ridgewood Veterinary Hospital Reviews
Dr. Healey is the most compassionate and caring Veterinarian. She treats our dog Rex with so much care. We have been going to her for years so that our dog can get the best treatment possible. Whenever someone asks I always recommend going to see her before any other Vet.
Dec 17, 2024 · Alexander PerezPricing here is astronomical compared to rest of market. Did a lot of research to. A regular wellness visit runs you $800, vs 100-300 anywhere else. Beware they will charge separately for all checks - few hundred for blood few hundred for poop sample etc. on top of the visit cost. If you just go with whatever they suggest for a regular check up you will spend close to $1000 everytime.
May 07, 2025 · Jackie PinoThe entire Team at VCA is wonderful, caring and knowledgeable. This is the first time I have brought a dog to the vet where he is so excited and can’t wait to get in the door. They make such a fuss over him and he is so happy to see his friends at VCA, especially Dr. Healey!
Dec 10, 2024 · Janice RudnickI have taken two of my dogs to see Dr. Healey at Ridgewood vet for cold laser treatment. Dr. Healey is amazing and my dogs have responded so well to the laser treatment. The whole staff is kind, patient and friendly. I love bringing my dogs here - I drive from Manhattan to see them.
Aug 21, 2019 · Sarah DixonI wish I could give them 10 Stars because they deserve every star. I've been going to this office since 2010 and always felt that they treated me and my dog like we were family. Dr. Healey and Dr. Hartwick have done so much to keep my dog healthy, happy and well taken care of. Then one day, my dog tore the ligament in her back leg and could not put pressure on it and was in a lot of pain. Dr. Cerf came to her rescue and performed what I call a miracle operation. Although he said that it may take up to 6 months before she is back to normal, I saw her continuously improve and in three months, she was walking without limping. She now acts as if nothing ever happened. Everyone on the staff has been so compassionate and greet us with a smile every time we come in. I'm also using their day care service because I know they will keep a close eye on her because of the major operation she had. I had to leave her in the hospital after her operation for 7 days because it was the week of Christmas and I had lots of family at my house. They were so sweet to take a picture of my dog near their Christmas Tree and e-mail it to me.
