Paros Mike G DVM Introduce
For residents of Chehalis, Washington, and the surrounding rural communities, the health of their animals—whether they are a beloved horse, a working herd of cattle, or a cherished small pet—is a significant responsibility. Unlike a traditional brick-and-mortar clinic, Paros Mike G DVM specializes in providing comprehensive veterinary services with a unique, on-the-go approach. Dr. Mike Paros, a graduate of Washington State University with a wealth of experience in large animal medicine, brings his expertise directly to the animals he serves through a model of farm calls and field services. This mobile veterinary practice is a crucial resource for the region, offering a blend of modern veterinary science and a practical, down-to-earth approach that is highly valued by local animal owners.
The practice’s philosophy is rooted in a commitment to provide progressive, evidence-based medicine and surgery. Dr. Paros strives to build a personal connection with his clients, ensuring clear and open communication about a variety of medical, surgical, and preventative care options. This approach is especially vital in large animal medicine, where the veterinarian often acts as a partner in managing the long-term health and productivity of a farm or herd. The focus on logical, science-backed solutions ensures that animals receive the most effective care possible, while the personal connection helps owners feel comfortable and informed. This combination of professionalism and genuine concern for both the animals and their caretakers is a key reason why Paros Mike G DVM is a trusted name in the area.
One of the most valuable services offered by the practice is their availability for emergencies. In a rural setting, a large animal emergency can be a serious and time-sensitive matter, and having a skilled veterinarian who is willing and able to act quickly is invaluable. The practice understands the urgency of these situations and is ready to respond. This readiness provides immense peace of mind to animal owners who may otherwise face a difficult and stressful situation. While a first impression may not always be perfect, clients consistently find that Dr. Paros is "down to earth," "very reasonable," and most importantly, effective in getting the job done. This practical, no-nonsense approach to care is highly appreciated by those who just need a problem fixed efficiently.
Paros Mike G DVM is based in Chehalis, WA 98532, USA. While the provided address serves as a base of operations, the nature of the practice means that most of the services are delivered as "farm calls" or "field surgeries," with the veterinarian traveling to the animal’s location. This mobile model is a significant advantage, as it eliminates the stress and logistical challenges of transporting a large, sick, or injured animal. It is important for clients to understand that the practice’s primary work is done on-site at the client’s location, making it a highly convenient and animal-friendly option.
The practice is also mindful of accessibility, with a wheelchair accessible entrance and a wheelchair accessible parking lot. A restroom is also available for clients, ensuring a comfortable experience when an in-person meeting is required. Appointments are recommended for routine visits, but the practice’s emergency services are designed to be responsive to urgent situations that cannot wait.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I can't thank Mike enough for his quick action in my state of emergency with my horse! He was incredibly down to business and in my opinion saved my horse from a case of choke. This was an emergency call and I couldn't be more greatful for his skill and desire to make sure the problem was fixed. I will be forever greatful for his skill, professionalism, and compassion.
June 07 · Alicia Janicki-AndrewMike was very down to earth. Truthfully, my first impression was not great, but that was an unfortunate time. I made an appointment for today, and he was here as soon as possible. VERY VERY REASONABLE rates, unlike most vets. Came in, got the job done, gave some advise for future visits, and left. Will ABSOLUTELY be calling on him again.
August 24 · Tom IsenhartOur Horse Collapsed and died . We just moved to Toledo and our vet who we had for years out of Vancouver , WA retired this last year . We thought we would look into a new vet when we got settled into our new home . We had No idea anything was wrong with our big fur child . Within a couple dayshe stopped eating and we just thought he didn't feel good . He waited for us to get home and he collapsed . We called a few vets and Mike was the first to come . I thought maybe our horse was poised but after we did a biopsy we found out he was full of Cancer and a tumor had ruptured .Mike was so wonderful through the whole process and he was even concerned for our horse and us as a family . We found our New Vet .Thank you Mike !
