Pet Calls Mobile Veterinary Clinic Introduce
For pet owners across the Kansas City metro and surrounding Kansas communities, Pet Calls Mobile Veterinary Clinic offers a revolutionary, low-stress approach to animal healthcare. Instead of navigating traffic, dealing with a frantic car ride, and sitting in a chaotic waiting room, the vet comes to you. As a full-service Mobile Veterinary Clinic, this practice eliminates the anxiety often associated with traditional clinic visits, allowing your beloved pets, particularly those who are elderly, anxious, or have limited mobility, to receive expert care in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. This is especially helpful for multi-pet households and pet owners with busy schedules.
The practice is led by Dr. Heather Shuey, a dedicated professional and Kansas State University graduate who has been practicing in the Kansas City area since 1999. Dr. Shuey’s extensive experience, including serving as a Medical Director for a large veterinary hospital and proudly serving as an Army Veterinarian, ensures a high standard of Medical Care delivered with exceptional Compassionate Service. The genesis of this practice stemmed from a desire to provide care where pets are most comfortable—at home—a level of kindness reviewers consistently highlight, noting that the House Call Visits result in "less stress on my cat" and are "patient, kind and thorough."
Pet Calls Mobile Veterinary Clinic is not limited to basic services; they bring a comprehensive suite of Veterinary offerings directly to your door. This includes preventative care, sophisticated Diagnostic Testing, Minor Surgery procedures, and innovative treatments like Cold Laser Therapy. By utilizing a Mobile Veterinarian model, the clinic prioritizes the emotional well-being of the animal, making every interaction a calmer, more personal experience for both the pet and the owner. This is particularly crucial when dealing with a Sick Pet or providing sensitive services like In Home Euthanasia.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had a wonderful experience!!! Dr. Shuey and her assistant Kat were very patient, kind and thorough with helping my elderly lab Jake. It was so helpful that Dr. Shuey could come inside the house for the visit since Jake has limited mobility. I highly recommend Pet Calls Mobile Veterinary Clinic!
April 22 · jill kanatzarDr. Shuey and her team are by far the best veterinarian I've seen in years. My cat Sofie and I have been to numerous veterinarians is the past several years. None of them were as kind, compassionate as Dr Shuey. Very reasonably priced. Having a vegetarian come to my house was less stress on my cat. I highly recommend Pet Calls.
August 27 · renee frisbieThey helped my dog by cleaning her teeth, in addition to examining her earlier this year. The best part is that the process was a lot less stressful than taking her to the hospital for the procedure. You would probably be surprised to find out that it was the same price, if not lower, than other vets. So, I would highly recommend Pet Calls to anyone. I can't think of any downsides at all, and many many upsides.
November 12 · Lesley RI cannot express how genuinely grateful I am to Pet Calls. We had made the difficult choice to put our dog down but wanted to do it in home as she was immobile and wanted her as comfortable as possible in her final moments. Everyone from the manager who handles the phone calls to Dr. Shuey herself were so helpful and kind during this awful and stressful time. The process itself was very smooth with Dr. Shuey gently guiding us through every step. The cost was also very reasonable and in line with traditional office vet services. If you are considering a mobile vet, Dr. Shuey and Pet Calls is the way to go.
October 05 · Rebecca MillerDr. Shuey and her assistants, Kat & Michelle have been looking after my pets for about 8 years now. My sister now has Dr. Shuey looking after her two French bulldogs. Surgeries, dental services , spaying and neutering. Also an in home euthanization for a 20 year old cat that was very ill. Compassionate and kind. Great prices and it is so convenient having a mobile veterinarian. Becky, the receptionist is also very friendly and efficient.
