Rolfe Veterinary Clinic Introduce
For residents of Rolfe, Iowa, and the wider Pocahontas County community, **Rolfe Veterinary Clinic PC** serves as a vital local resource for animal health and well-being. As a dedicated local veterinarian, the clinic plays an essential role in providing essential care for both beloved companion animals and the livestock critical to Iowa's agricultural heritage. In small, close-knit communities, the relationship between a client and their vet is built on trust and availability, and the Rolfe Veterinary Clinic has a long history of serving these needs right on Broad Street.
The clinic is known for its personal touch and dedication, especially through the work of veterinarians like Dr. Dave. Customer feedback frequently highlights his **caring nature and willingness to go the extra mile**, demonstrating a level of commitment that is often hard to find. One customer specifically noted how Dr. Dave even came to the office **after hours** to stitch up a dog that was hurt, a clear sign of the dedication to the community and their animals that defines a quality rural veterinary practice. This kind of flexibility and readiness to assist in emergencies, whether it's for a family dog or a sick calf, is invaluable to Iowa families who rely on prompt, compassionate service.
However, it is important for prospective clients to note that while the medical care and the commitment of the veterinarians are often highly praised, the client experience at the front desk has, at times, faced criticism. Some customers have expressed concerns about the initial interaction and communication when trying to secure emergency care, particularly when dealing with livestock emergencies. For Iowans needing urgent help, clear and courteous communication is critical. Despite these noted service issues at the administrative level, the clinic remains a cornerstone for veterinary medicine in the area, offering essential primary care and emergency support when animals are most in need. They have been a fixture in the community for many years, with a focus on providing quality, local care.

- Dr Dave is a wonderful, caring vet. He even came to the office, after hours, to stitch up one of my dogs after she was hurt. You can't find a better veterinarian! August 21 · Therese Harke
- There was an older lady at the front desk and she wasn't very pleasant to talk to at all... We have a sick calf and told her multiple times it's an emergency but she kept being rude. She wouldn't even give me the number of the vet to me or the route he's on so we could contact them... Also they have outdated plat books from the 60's or older...From the start I said I didn't know you were open and she gave a snappy reply "the light is on isn't it?" Last time we do business with them. Wouldn't recommend going there if she doesn't want to change her attitude. August 27 · Devon Bringleson

- I've been taking my pets here for as long as I can remember, and honestly I will never go anywhere else. The vets here have so much compassion for all of their "patients" I highly recommend these vets. January 01 · Alanna Steward
