Smyth County Animal Hospital Reviews
Dr Halsey and his team were fantastic! They were some of the most friendly people I’ve ever met — not only to me but to my dog as well. They took the time to hear my story and made a plan that was best for both of us. It is obvious how knowledgeable Dr Halsey is and we are so lucky to have a vet like him.
Mar 24, 2025 · Ginger DeelDr. Halsey has been providing fantastic care to our new litter of Rottweiler pups! He takes the time to answer our many questions, and the front desk staff and vet techs are very friendly!
May 13, 2025 · Katherine HollowayDr. Halsey is amazing, 10/10 veterinary experience. I could tell he not only genuinely cares about his furry patients, but is very knowledgeable and experienced. I brought my beloved cat in who was having pretty serious diarrhea in the last day after taking her to Fisher Hollow for vaccinations over the weekend. My cat had a 104 fever, but after a stool sample Dr. Halsey was able to determine she had a bacterial overgrowth/infection in her gut. Not only that, but Fisher Hollow gave her a vaccine that she did not need as it is only needed for outdoor cats. Dr. Halsey administered a shot to help with the fever, then sent us home with antibiotics and more meds to keep her fever down. Within the hour of being home after having the shot and her first dose of antibiotic, her fever seems to have gone down and she’s been playing with her toys. I will never take her anywhere else.
Mar 04, 2025 · Elizabeth RussellWe use multiple veterinarians based on animal/livestock type. We've brought our pups, dogs, and cats here. Great, fast, and reasonably priced services. ❤️😊 We most recently had our eldest cat put to sleep, as hard as the decision was, we love the fact, that they didn't question our decision or force expensive treatments.. We knew it was his time, and they respected our wishes.
