★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I recently brought in my 17-year-old dashund, Baby, for a check-up and my 2-year-old tabby, Jones, for his annual exam at Southwood Valley Animal Hospital, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The clinic is family-owned, and you can truly feel the warmth and care as soon as you walk in.Vet tech Sammy was so kind and gentle, helping make the whole visit smooth and stress-free. Practice manager Bianca was welcoming and helpful, keeping everything organized and making us feel like part of the family.Dr. Lauren was amazing with both pets. She was so gentle and patient with Baby, taking extra care with her since she’s a senior pup. And with Jones, she made the exam smooth and stress-free (which says a lot for a cat visit!). She answered all my questions thoroughly and never made the appointment feel rushed. The whole team clearly loves what they do and treats every pet like their own. I’m so grateful to have a place I can trust with my pets’ care. Highly recommend Southwood Valley Animal Hospital for anyone looking for compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated veterinary care for your furry family member. Don’t sleep on this place!
March 25 · NCGDI had to take my cat in today in a little bit of an emergency. They did a wonderful job, squeezing me in, and explained, it's the same the walk in price to me before we started. The staff at southwood valley animal hospital are amazing, and my kitty's seemed to love them too!
May 28 · Andi La FountainI can’t say enough great things about Southwood Valley Animal Hospital! My dog saw the doctor today today, and the care we received was outstanding. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and clearly compassionate about animals. The staff/vet took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all my questions, and treated my dog with such kindness and patience. My dog, who is usually nervous at the vet, was surprisingly not upset thanks to how gentle and caring everyone was. It’s clear they truly love what they do and put the pets’ comfort first.I left feeling confident that my dog was in great hands, and I’m so grateful to have found a vet who treats us like family. Highly recommend!
July 26 · Debbie OgdenWe love Dr Lauren and Dr Justin! It’s so refreshing to find a clinic with staff who actually listen to you and understand that you have shared a life with your pet and know what’s normal and what’s not, what’s worked in the past and what hasn’t etc. Dr Lauren is very thorough, explaining everything and making you part of the decision-making. She is also very compassionate and our dogs love her and all the Southwood Valley staff.
May 22 · Justine SomogyiI expressed all my concerns to Southwood and they worked with me and made sure I was comfortable with everything that they did first. The vet was very knowledgeable and kind and treated my puppy with great care along with the amazing vet tech and the vet student that worked there. She was not afraid to do whatever it took to treat my dog with gentleness but also examine her properly. They also treated me well in getting her the care she needed. I really loved this place and I’ll be taking her back here from now on.
