May 19, 2025 · Kayla GriffithWe’ve been bringing our cats, Rascal and Peaky, to The Cat Doctor for the past 5 years, and there is truly no better place for thoughtful, specialized veterinary care. Dr. Oeben, Eileen, Susie, and Paul have each made a lasting impact on our family with their kindness, patience, and expertise. Our older cat, Rascal, had been with me since the day he was born—17 wonderful years. As he developed age-related health issues (kidney disease, thyroid problems, and high blood pressure), Dr. Oeben worked patiently and diligently with us to find the right medications and dosages to keep him comfortable and thriving. Jun 24, 2025 · Kristine McDermottMy cat is needed a top quality veterinarian close to our new home, despite spending her first decade of life with an amazing vet. That already established relationship and respect earned by always putting my cat first was a priority for a replacement.I've noticed The Cat Doctor building for many years so longevity isn't an issue. I also read reviews and seek recommendations from neighbors. Montrose has changed so much with entire blocks now unrecognizable and only a business that has the area's trust and respect lasts as long as The Cat Doctor has.Our first visit today confirmed my assumptions. Everyone there has a calm and friendly energy, which made us feel comfortable. The exam rooms are nice and they were gentle yet thorough when examining. It was quick but not rushed and felt informed enough to leave knowing I've found a new vet to give my constant the best care possible.
May 29, 2025 · Brian HenleyAbsolutely wonderful experience with the Cat Doctor and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I took my two cats here while I lived in Houston and everyone on the staff is phenomenal. The office is quiet and calming for cats and everyone that works there is extremely knowledgeable and gentle with cats (especially with one of my anxious cats). Dr. Oeben is an excellent vet and I always felt like we were in good hands for their vet visits. Thank you to all the staff for always going above and beyond (Peach, Mario, and I will miss coming to you for yearly checkups now that we've moved!)
Apr 04, 2025 · Maddy RoyseI recommend the Cat Doctor to anyone who wants a safe, warm, and personable vet office who are going to care for your babies like they’re their own.I, and my two cats, truly look forward to coming every year for our annual check ups.Best staff ever! Thank you all for being so personable and sweet.Coziest and most welcoming office!(Special shoutout to them when I adopted a kitty and was feeling anxiety about introducing her to my resident cat! They were especially kind and compassionate, offering me advice and reassurance during the entire introduction process.)I’m grateful to have a vet that I trust. Again, they truly care for your babies! Highly recommend.
