★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My pups love the techs and their vets! I’ve had all the experiences here, from bringing in older pups till they need to be put down to bringing in our two new pups when they were little fur babies. We see Dr Blair, who is an amazing woman! She loves all animals especially the big dogs… at least she makes my big dog think she’s her favorite! When we had to put down a dog a few years back they were so very kind, let us have time in this room with her, talked us and our young son through the process… I cannot say enough. Also, if you have a new pet, do the care club, it does save money in the long run, it covers ALL the things and every office visit!Cannot beat that!I also back up that with pet insurance since I have two dogs that are mixed but their breeds have certain issues that can be expensive to care for.Needless to say I’m very happy with this place, I’ve moved kind of far away and still drive 30 minutes to them!
July 01 · Kimi MehlingerCourtney Parsons DVM saved my cats life today. My sweet Zeke had a blockage in his urethra and his bladder was the size of a baseball. We brought him in and he was seen within minutes. Courtney was very transparent about the cost of the procedure and gave us every option possible. She is very informative and empathetic. All the staff there is incredible. Thank you so much for helping us today 💗
February 28 · BrittThere was one person at the reception desk who was unfriendly and seemed not to care, I'm still giving 5 stars because Dr. Saunders, Nicole, Amber and Sharon more than made up for that one person by being so kind, caring and efficient.Losing our little dog was heartbreaking, the most difficult decision we've ever made, but we felt confident with that decision because Dr. Saunders helped us to feel like we were making the most humane and kind decision available to us, she treated us with kindness and compassion and made the process as painless for Daphne as for us.
April 27 · Loralee DavisOur family moved to the area a few months back and finding a new vet was a stressful experience, given how anxious and reactive our pup is. Finding a vet that was patient and understanding of his behaviors was extremely important. Upon my first call to set up an appointment, I was already at ease with how willing they were to make accommodations, giving me an appointment at a quiet time with less people, and just generally expressing their experience with anxious dogs. At his appointment, the entire staff was amazing, they had his room ready so he didn’t have to wait around other people and dogs and everyone that worked with him showed him both kindness and space when he needed it. Dr. Kuo was amazing and addressed all our concerns, validated our experiences, and was extremely helpful in creating a treatment plan for us. We are so thankful to have found a fantastic vet to bring our boy to, what we thought was going to be a stressful experience, turned out to be one of the best and most helpful experiences we’ve ever had at a vet. I would HIGHLY recommend and thank everyone at VCA Central Kitsap for their patience and attentiveness, it’s extremely obvious how much they all care about their patients.
February 21 · Natalie AndersonVCA Animal Hospital is wonderful. The staff is friendly and happy to help. The vet we see, Dr. Blair has taken care of our Shelties for over 12 years. She is extremely knowledgeable and very caring with animals. My Shelties love her. She sits on the floor and greets our pups before conducting any exam.
