VCA Wickaboag Animal Hospital Reviews
This place is amazing the staff is so wonderful there is just not enough words to say how grateful, blessed and lucky our family is to have them as our baby Odie vet got an appointment to have first exams done so we could have Odie fixed they explained everything for us before the procedure all the risk and also benefits that could come out of it getting it done. I was super scared about having him under Anesthesia, but they put all at easy as much as they could into conferring me about his test result and what the doctor had to say. My baby Odie got out of surgery fine they called me letting me know how he was doing they are so kind, understanding and loving to him. Have to drive a little over an hour to see them but I won't go any were else. Thank you so much again to all the staff at Vca:)
Apr 28, 2024 · Thiara DealmeidaWe recently had to have our beloved Angel put down to end her pain. This was the only animal hospital in all of central MA. that came to our aid. They treated her with love and respect and were as gentle with her as humanly possible. They gave us time to say goodbye and we were at her side when she past. I cannot say enough good of the staff and doctor.
Jul 08, 2023 · Lee NimtzI have been taking my shiba, Ryu here for the past 3 years and have always felt warmly greeted whether it be on the phone or in person. I have nothing but respect for all the staff as they keep this facility operating and do their best to be available especially sudden health urgencies. The VCA Wickabog team are all around wonderful, knowledgeable, and professional! Without them, I would not have been able to keep Ryu's allergies at bay. Without them, Ryu wouldn't have swiftly recovered from his slipped disc injury or have even caught early stages of pneumonia. He is in the best shape he's ever been and I have them to thank for being so patient, caring, and understanding of him and his breed. I've always appreciated the team following up and checking on him during those times he was recovering and sharing any news of his lab results. Please be patient with the team as they only have a limited number of rooms available and does get very busy! There is plenty of parking as they have a designated lot. I decided to also try out their grooming services and am sure glad that I did (please enjoy the attached photo for reference). Thank you VCA Wickabog Team for always taking good care of Ryu!
Sep 22, 2023 · Diana NgoFOREVER GRATEFULMolly was an English Cream Golden Retriever. She was truly the best dog you could ever want. She was my heart!!In 2019 she was diagnosed with lymphoma. 2 weeks later she was having trouble breathing. The enlarged lymph nodes in her neck were pressing on her trachea. I called my vet first thing that morning to compassionately euthanize her since she was suffering & struggling to breathe. They refused to see her, stating that they were booked with routine appointments until 7pm that evening. I had to call around to other area vets, which was taking up time. Some vets said they couldn’t see Molly because she wasn’t an established patient at their clinic. Finally, I called VCA Wickaboag Animal Hospital. They offered me an appointment within the hour - no questions asked. They even asked me if the appointment time was ok or if we needed a sooner appointment. They were so kind to us. When we arrived they brought us into a room immediately, along with her sister Mysha. I thought it was important that she say goodbye as well. They explained everything before doing anything to Mollly. Afterwards they gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our loved one & family member. They were there for us when it really mattered, the wat ALL vets should be!! WE ARE FOREVER GRATEFUL!!
Feb 22, 2024 · Michelle DorayThere is no better groomer than Melissa. She is professional, kind, patient, and is incredibly knowledgeable about dogs. She can tailor the grooming experience to fit each dog’s needs. She’s also extremely versatile - from simple, to show cut, to creative grooming. Every animal that interacts with Melissa is lucky. She’s an absolute gem. The front desk staff are also so sweet. Wouldn’t bring my Lucinda anywhere else.
