Veterinary Emergency Group Reviews
Thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable team always made me feel that my pet was well in hand! Appreciated the cleanliness, the excellent triage and thoroughness on my dog’s procedure, (and the fresh baked cookies)! We had a long wait due to more serious cases arriving, but were made comfortable and were updated continuously on status. It’s a stressful, costly experience when one is in an emergency pet situation but the team at VEG went above and beyond in all areas! Lil’ ol’ girl doing good!!!
Jun 24, 2025 · Maureen SugarmanI had a great experience at VEG recently when my cat had a wound on his leg. They treated him quickly (on a Sunday) and didn’t even charge me for a follow-up later that day. He needed some antibiotics a few days later and they were able to provide that. All in this was probably half the price I was expecting to pay (based on previous emergency vet visits) and everyone was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. My cat is doing much better now!
Jun 30, 2025 · Alex ByrneNo one wants to take their family pet to an emergency room. However, going to VEG was such a positive experience. We were greeted by a caring nursing staff and Doctors who truly wanted the best for our dog Cadence. Doctor Lee was there when we arrived and she was so sweet and soft spoken. She gave us a full run down of what was going on and made sure to answer our questions. Doctor Spencer was there overnight and treated Cadence with so much care. The nursing staff was also so great. They offered me to stay overnight with Cadence which took me by surprise. Each and every one of those lovely humans deserve more than they get. Thank you again VEG team.
Jun 26, 2025 · Heather NewstromOur cat suddenly got sick – he developed a runny nose, started coughing, and one night began struggling to breathe. At 4 a.m., we rushed to this emergency clinic, the closest one to our home. I was genuinely surprised by how clean, calm, and welcoming the space was. The staff, both doctors and nurses, were kind and attentive. Since it’s an open space for all animals, I saw how gently they treated every dog and cat there. When our little one got anxious, they immediately gave us a private room to help him feel safe. The final bill was about the same as what we usually pay at our regular vet clinic. I was truly impressed with the level of care and professionalism. Our kitty has fully recovered now. Thank you again!
Jun 04, 2025 · Anastasiya KanLast August, our cat Freddie suddenly got extremely sick - he was not eating or playing and then developed issues breathing. We took him to VEG, where he was put in the ICU overnight and ultimately given a diagnoses of FIP.It was an extremely stressful situation for Freddie and us (especially with Freddie being our first cat), and we are so glad to have had Dr. Rivera and Dr. Spencer take care of Freddie. They were really empathetic, patient, knowledgeable, and helpful the whole time. They kept us informed every step of the way, explaining the workup and plan and providing us with the necessary resources. In addition, they and the other staff were gentle and caring when handling our cat, who is extremely shy and anxious around strangers.Due to the prompt and excellent care at VEG, Freddie survived and is doing well today. We are very grateful to Dr. Rivera, Dr. Spencer, and all the other staff who took care of Freddie. Thank you so very much!
