While the hospital has received overwhelming praise for its staff and overall service, it is worth noting the importance of choosing the right doctor for your pet's specific needs. A review mentioned a less positive experience with a particular doctor, Dr. Cane, highlighting a lack of bedside manner with a high-energy pet. This serves as a useful reminder that every individual's experience can differ and that it can be beneficial to inquire about which doctor will be on staff, especially for pets with special needs. The fact that the front staff was able to "save" the experience for this customer speaks volumes about the hospital's overall positive culture and commitment to excellent service.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Dr Brar is genuinely a caring Dr. He treats my dog like she’s his own. He doesn’t order unnecessary tests, he’s just amazing. All his staff is awesome (Kimberly) too. Got her in immediately during an emergency. Prices are good too.
May 21 · Windy WareWant to start by saying the desk + nursing staff saved my whole experience. I have a very high energy pup (ironically, we came in today to update vaccines for training) and when I first came in they immediately put me in a room so my dog could be free while I filled out paperwork. Assuring me they loved dogs and she was fine (though a little jumpy!)My recommendation is to see if Dr Cane is on staff the day of your appointment if you have a high needs pup. I have been to many vets with my high energy dog (+ my other reactive dog) and I have truly never felt so much shame from a doctor. She started by saying she was having back pain so my dog couldn’t touch her. And even with me holding my dogs harness, and my dog in a seated position, the doctor looked at my dog as if she terrified her, called her “crazy” and yelled “no!” at her if she so much as lifted her face to her. Dogs can sense energy and this doctor did not radiate the calm and supportive energy you would hope for. After throwing her stethoscope on the counter and stating this exam “obviously wasn’t happening” bc she couldn’t hear my dogs (obviously heightened) heartbeat, she abruptly ended the visit and made me feel like an absolute inconvenience to her day. I normally deter myself from leaving bad reviews but having a high energy or reactive dog already makes vet visits so hard + nerve racking. I just wanted anyone in that situation to know what they are walking into.Again the front staff was amazing and handled me and my dog with so much love. I think Dr. Cane could take a couple tips from them about bedside manner.
August 09 · Dallys Oldja-RinconWellCare animal hospital is the best place to take your pets. We have been coming the past three years and have had nothing short of an exceptional experience. Dr. Brar is very knowledgeable and can tell he cares for your pet. He is always upfront about the cost and won’t charge for unnecessary tests. He walks us through everything that he does. The staff is amazing as well (especially Kimberley). We are always greeted with smiles and are well taken care of. They always make sure our cats feel comfortable and safe. You can typically get in within the week too! I 100% recommend them for your fur babies
July 03 · Kaylynn HernandezDr. Chris Cain is a soulless monster who has no place caring for animals or supporting pet owners—she is devoid of compassion. At my dog’s appointment, she failed to perform a full exam and rushed through in under ten minutes, offering only one “solution”: a $20K treatment plan of tests, surgery, and chemo. When I asked repeatedly about alternatives, she showed irritation and brushed me off with no empathy, no follow-up plan, and no guidance for my dog’s comfort. Clearly, since I wasn’t sure about paying $20K, I was not important and didn’t justify any more of her time.I agreed to the first round of tests, then waited almost a week for the results. After several days of me calling repeatedly, Dr. Cain had the receptionist call me with the news. The receptionist delivered devastating cancer results with the coldness and tone of a cashier declining a credit card. That day, as I considered my options, my dog’s health quickly deteriorated. I called at least six times begging for help. After waiting nine excruciating hours, I finally learned from an Animal Hospice center to ask for an anti-nausea prescription. About fifteen minutes before closing, they prescribed the medication—only to charge me nearly triple the retail price. I had no choice but to pay. To add insult to injury, the receptionist had the audacity to lecture me to “stay positive” as my dog suffered needlessly all day. This clinic may have a skilled vet in Dr. Brar, but the office is overextended and the lack of compassion is inexcusable. Dr. Cain, in particular, is a disgrace to veterinary medicine.
August 26 · Juniper EspinosaDr. Brar has been an amazing vet since day 1 when I brought my dog Gizmo in. He truly cares about animals. He was able to treat my dogs crusty paws immediately. The whole staff is very welcoming and friendly. We recently found out that my dog is diabetic and it was such a challenge to give him insulin. Dr. Brar and his techs took time out a few times to train me and my husband how to give him insulin without charge. We had upcoming travel plans and my mom was watching Gizmo while we were on vacation and she was able to bring him in every day so Gizmo could get his insulin. Dr. Brar goes above and beyond for his clients. I would highly recommend this Veterinary Clinic.
