This article will explore the offerings of Williamson Animal Hospital, its accessibility, and what makes it a suitable choice for pet owners in the New York area.
Location and Accessibility
Williamson Animal Hospital is conveniently located at 4450 NY 104, Williamson, NY 14589, USA. This address places the hospital directly on a major state route, NY 104, which is a significant advantage for accessibility. For pet owners in Williamson and the surrounding communities within the New York region, navigating to the clinic should be straightforward. NY 104 is a well-traveled road, ensuring easy access by car from various directions. The clinic's direct roadside presence likely contributes to its visibility and ease of finding for first-time visitors.
For those traveling by personal vehicle, which is often the most practical method for transporting pets to veterinary appointments, the location on a main highway suggests good road conditions and potentially ample parking, although specific parking details are not provided. Given its location in a more suburban or rural part of New York, public transportation options might be limited, and driving will typically be the most common mode of access for most clients. The strategic placement on a state route means that pet owners from nearby towns and hamlets can also reach the hospital without extensive detours, positioning Williamson Animal Hospital as a central and accessible veterinary care provider for a broad segment of the New York pet-owning population in that area.

Williamson Animal Hospital Reviews
I’ve taken my Goldens here for years. My older golden (11 years old) has had a few minor issues over the years, but they’re always very accommodating with their schedule to get him in. I also appreciate that the vet will thoroughly go over a diagnosis and even give us printed out packets with additional information. Staff is very friendly & kind!
Feb 25, 2025 · Raquel LeisenringStaff are super friendly!!!My only issue is, we brought my two dogs, Moose (12 years old) and Bear (6mos old) for their rabies and distemperment vaccines. When we arrived, they asked if there were any concerns. I said yes, as Bear had been itching his ear really badly. Shaking his head constantly, whining, and even walked with a tilt in his head at one point because of the pain. The vet looked in his ear and said nothing was wrong.Fast forward 4-6 days. Bears' ear is now bleeding and scabbed from the itching. He can't sleep, is constantly walking with a tilt in his head, constantly whining, and more. I called again and asked for a SWAB to test for an ear infection. (Moose had just gotten over one, which was diagnosed by an urgent care vet) They got us in that same day (thankfully), but once again, they just looked at his ear. Commented. " Oh, it's gotten a lot worse." Then blatantly said she didn't know what was going on but gave us a random antibiotic and sent us on our way again. Thankfully, it's been kind of working for him. But I asked for a swab. No swab. No diagnosis. Nothing except "here's a random antibiotic." And that was it. Appointment over. It's very frustrating.
Jan 17, 2025 · Zoe' PittmanWe were referred to her for our cat to have a thyroid surgery. We were told to call at 1:00. Called and said he was fine and to come and get him. We were there in 15 minutes. When we arrived, the doctor came out and said he died. There was no empathy for our loss and kind of blew it off as oh well. I would never take an animal there again and would not recommend them either
Jan 26, 2025 · denise LadaVery polite staff and the doctor is very nice and answers any questions I have regarding my cat. This is the second cat I’ve brought to them. They were very good with our first cat right up until the end of her life when we had to put her down. They even sent us a sympathy card for that cat. Very touching and thoughtful. I know our experience bringing our new kitten here will be just as good. Our new kitty loves the attention and the treats when he comes in for his routine visits.
Sep 22, 2021 · Lisa PowersDr. Semilof and her staff have always taken excellent care of all my fur babies. Through all their life stages they have always given us the best advice and care.
