Wrentham Animal Hospital Reviews
I love Wrentham Animal Hospital. I take my two dogs there; Yoshi and Aspen. The staff is super nice and accommodating. They are the best vet we've been to as far as scheduling, they always find a way to help squeeze us in when necessary. They are really good with my dogs and their care. Price wise I feel like they are probably typical market? My last vet was VCA east Providence and they were more expensive. Can't recommend them enough.

The level of care and consideration, and attention to detail has always left my husband and I feeling very secure and confident in the care our kiddos receive.Meg is our usual technician and our animals ADORE her. She is absolutely brilliant, very kind, and her passion for animal care is evident. (My two boys are cheesing HARD after getting to see her, as shown in the attached photo)We sadly lost two of our babies over the years and the entire staff was so supportive, empathetic, and affirming. I feel so deeply grateful that Wrentham Animal Hospital is here~We live in RI and it is always worth the drive!
Feb 01, 2025 · Vanessa Sae-hee BurkeThey are beyond Amazing. I but have been debating on making the switch to them for a while now. I was always going to the same vets since 2007 but the past few years they have went down hill from vaccine mess ups and the lack of pet care I feel like I was getting I had to make a change because the pets are my kids and I want the best for them.I will start off by saying I was not a client of there's yet But I called because my cat was sick and I couldn't get in to the place near my house for a week. I called Wrentham animal hospital and the lady who picked up was extremely nice and could tell I was concerned about getting my pet in so she made me a appointment that day. So first experience on the phone was greatSecond experience was when I walked in the door, the place smelled good, the waiting room was clean and the front desk was very friendly. Now on to the the room where I brought my cat, It was very clean to the vet Tec asked a lot of questions to see what the issue was and was friendly to me and my cat. The vet comes in and had a huge smile on her face was very personable and friendly to my cat to. We talked about the issues and concerned I had and she explained what she felt was going on and wanted to run some test. She said we will start off with a ultra sound and if we see what we are looking for than we don't need a x-ray. Says lets start there so you wont have to pay extra for a test if its not needed. ( I really appreciate that because it shows they are not just out looking to make money) I ended up needing both tests and other stuff but it was the end of the want and I had to go to work so I was able to bring my cat back the next morning for a drop off so they could monitor her better. I loved that because I also had to go to work the next day and I know she would be in good hands. I picked her up at the end of the day and was told any issues and I need to come back I can drop her back off in the morning again and I had to do so. They gave me some answers on what was going on and meds to take home and she's feeling so much better and has been eating again. Told me If things don't change or get worst to call them for more testing but she's been so much better. Now that's three days of day at the vets total with testing a Ultra sound, 2 xrays, fluids, meds there meds to take home and two days of drop off stays. Let me tell you the bill was not as big as I would have thought (thank god). Was it a lot of money yes but I didn't feel like it was unreasonable at all and the care was beyond amazing so just that alone is worth every dollar. I will be making the switch for all my pets to go there for now on and I'm extremely happy with everything from them. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place that will care as much for your pet as you do.
Jun 06, 2025 · Sarah DixonI cannot say enough good things about Wrentham Animal Hospital. They take such great care of our pets. We switched from Dr. Truesdale's vet clinic. Every time we went there, the entire place smelled terrible and the staff was so rude. I was expecting all animal hospitals to be that way, but not this place! They keep the place very clean, are very friendly and responsive, and are even kid-friendly. Our dog has not been feeling well lately, so we went there for a visit after school, my kids were tired and hungry. No problem- they had books and toys for the kids to occupy themselves with and snacks and drinks. I was not expecting that. Highly recommend coming here if you want your pets to be treated with kindness and their owners as well.
May 21, 2025 · Tamar ChobanyanDisappointing Unacceptable Care.I brought my dog in on Friday for a Lyme test. I was informed that if the test was negative the office would call on Saturday. If the test was positive, I would need to wait until Tuesday for antibiotics when the vet, Dr. Andersen, returned. Totally unacceptable to wait 4 days to start antibiotics if the test is positive.Apparently no other vet at the facility can read a positive result and order a antibiotic if needed. They certainly should not call themselves a Hospital if the vets are all in private practice and cannot follow up on care.Dr. Andersen also informed me we should get the Lyme vaccination to prevent kidney failure, although somehow my dog can wait 4 days for antibiotics if positive for Lyme since she is off. Confusing mixed message.Unacceptable care.
