The Animal Dermatology Clinic consistently earns high praise from Indiana pet owners, highlighting several distinctive features that make them a premier choice for specialized dermatological care:
- Exceptional Expertise in Chronic Conditions: A key highlight is their ability to successfully treat long-standing, stubborn issues. As one review powerfully states, "I have a 10 year old domestic shorthair cat who has had chronic ear infections for the last 7 years. I’ve taken him to no less than 10 vets and tried so many medicines and treatments with no avail... they have changed my Paninis life." This demonstrates their capability to resolve cases where other clinics have been unsuccessful.
- Thorough Diagnosis and Root Cause Identification: They excel at not just treating symptoms but identifying the underlying triggers. For Panini, they "identified the trigger that was causing inflammation that led to infections, and created a long term plan." Similarly, for Monkey, they discovered "major food allergies" as the cause of a "rodent ulcer." This diagnostic depth is crucial for lasting relief.
- Effective Long-Term Treatment Plans: Their focus is on sustainable solutions. Panini's owner reported, "We are about 4 months out from his initial visit, and he is doing SO well. His ears are clear, no scratching, no discomfort. He’s so much happier and more playful." This highlights the success of their comprehensive, forward-looking strategies.
- Compassionate and Patient Staff: The team’s empathy shines through, especially with anxious pets. "The staff here is wonderful and was very patient with Monkey as he was always terrified of going anywhere, let alone a veterinary clinic." This creates a less stressful environment for sensitive animals.
- Owner Education and Empowerment: They truly care about educating pet owners. "They are a clinic that cares about their patients AND educates owners." This ensures pet parents understand their pet’s condition and how to manage it effectively at home.
- Personalized and Empathetic Follow-Up: The profound impact they have on clients extends even beyond treatment, as evidenced by the kind letter sent after a pet's passing. "Both my wife and I thank you for how well you have treated him and for the kind letter that you sent us after you found out about his passing." This shows a deep level of compassion and connection with their patients and their families.

Animal Dermatology Clinic Reviews
I have a 10 year old domestic shorthair cat who has had chronic ear infections for the last 7 years. I’ve taken him to no less than 10 vets and tried so many medicines and treatments with no avail- he would still get infected ears every 4 months. In November 2024, a vet recommended Animal Dermatology Clinic, and I took Panini in for an appt… I can not overstate this- they have changed my Paninis life. They treated the current infection, identified the trigger that was causing inflammation that led to infections, and created a long term plan for Panini. We are about 4 months out from his initial visit, and he is doing SO well. His ears are clear, no scratching, no discomfort. He’s so much happier and more playful. If you are considering going to Animal Dermatology Clinic - DO IT. They are a clinic that cares about their patients AND educates owners.
Mar 21, 2025 · Christine HornettWe brought our boy Monkey in when he developed a "rodent ulcer". Come to find out he had major food allergies. After the vet got him onto a prescription food plan the issue went away. The staff here is wonderful and was very patient with Monkey as he was always terrified of going anywhere, let alone a veterinary clinic. We've since lost him a few months back due to the negligence and mishandlling of another vet. (Whiteland Animal Clinic)Both my wife and I thank you for how well you have treated him and for the kind letter that you sent us after you found out about his passing.
Aug 21, 2023 · Ammar AFriendly inviting atmosphere and staff clearly loves animals! I really appreciate how the vet provides treatment options so I feel in control of treatment of my pet!
Oct 31, 2023 · Deb LoganFantastic experience. The staff is incredible. The vet we met with, Dr. Plowgian, was very knowledgeable, listened carefully, and developed a very practical, cost effective care plan. This was by far the best experience we have ever had at a specialty vet practice. And they are bully breed friendly! 😊
Apr 05, 2024 · SMJThis location made us feel so welcome after trying so many different places to help our furry friend. Not only was the doctor thorough but he also was patient with all my questions. It took awhile to get in to be seen but it was so worth the wait in seeing my dog live a happier, healthy life.
