Specifically, the care and attention provided by Dr. Herman.at Banfield - Brentwood, TN. And also, over the last few years, Rachel, the wonderful intake person who greeted me and Puck during our fairly frequent visits, and always provided comfort to him. Her attention and support during his later years was heartfelt and appreciated.Thank you Rachel and Dr. Herman.
August 24 · Jason DeanI don't even know how to explain, the frustration with this particular banfield. I normally go to the Banfield on Murfreesboro Road. They are fantastic, everything you could want. My dog had an ear and paw infection. It's pretty much a seasonal thing. I chose to go to Brentwood because my regular Banfield was booked up, the day I needed to go. I walked in and the place was not clean. The tech broke the ear swab, in my dogs ear. Never took scrapping of the paw. First the vet never examined my dog, only looked at him. I was showing her his paws and she told me he was not in pain because he did not growl, bite, or snap. What!! I touched the paw and he pulled it back away from me, sign that hurts. I told her he was walking oddly on the paws. Not all dogs growl, and snap. When in pain. Certainly mine has never. He hides the problem area and makes a whining sound. She said he looked clean and no scabs. Well I take steps to make sure he is clean and no scabs. He has severe allergies. I explained we go through this same problem once or twice a year. I even said what meds, he gets. She said she thought the other Banfield prescribed antibiotics unnecessarily. Well maybe once a year, I get them. If I dont catch it early, it gets bad. Im not trying to wait, until he is scabby, hobling, around. She gave me antibiotics after a lecture that made me feel like she was trashing other colleagues. Neither dr, or technician was friendly or sensitive to me or my dog. I will stick with his regular Banfield from now on. It may be just the one vet there, but I dont want to chance having her again. I will give at least 3 stars, because she did prescribe the medicine I asked for. She even told me it was her liscense on the line. Damn, I asked for antibiotics, not opiates. I know what he needs, because it happens every year, and he is 7, so I get what's wrong with my dog!
July 31 · Karen HassellI suspect this place is even more negligent than I think. I was persuaded to put my dog under the maintenance plan in February and boy do I regret the decision. This is a corporate entity that treats your pet like an assembly line cog and values the dollar more than the client. My dog cowered and was clearly afraid to go in the last two visits. Even though I’m committed to paying on the plan another 8 months, I’m taking my dog elsewhere. That should tell you all you need to know.
June 16 · Denise NowotnyDr. Harvey & the staff are always so attentive & caring. My dog has had several allergic reactions to anesthesia & vaccines. The staff always has been so thorough & calls & checks up on my dog to see how he’s doing. Totally recommend.
March 13 · Roselli GroupAbsolutely the WORST place ever. I don’t recommend this business to anyone. All locations are bad but this one is the worst. Not only is their facility dirty, their customer service staff is rude as ever, especially the girl I talked to today, and they are not gentle with your pet at all. They threatened me with a collections letter when the account they were referring to isn’t even in my name and I NEVER signed a contract with them. When I called the 800 number, the person I talked to even told me I wasn’t in the contract so they legally shouldn’t have sent me any information, plus he had a different address on file than the address where the letter went to, and no one in their office will tell me how they ended up with my address. When for a fact I didn’t give them my info. They are a huge scam! I understand they have a “monthly program” but it’s the biggest joke. I’d rather pay the higher price at another vet to get gentle hands, a nice staff, and a clean environment. This place is awful, save your money.
