★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our 5yo lab Maggie recently injured-not sure how- but shes by far the most active Lab (our 4th over the yrs).. running the field in back after her ‘chuckie ball’ is her life as is running ‘for game=stick’ and family has a pool and farm- she’s in heaven when we visit. Also is the 1st Lab we’ve needed surgery for so we did our homework and Boone’s hosp kept popping up as THE place to go. Plus we know of 2 lg dogs that had similar surg over the yrs both doing great. We recently had her ‘meet n greet’ with Dr Hayes and her staff. Sadly she does need CCL repair of hind leg and looking at $5-6k. While I know some will say: ‘that’s crazy!’ and ‘for a dog?!’.. but she’s a great dog, only 5 yrs who is part of our family so we will proceed w the ‘tightrope surgery syst’ in 2 weeks. Just want Maggie finding joy running and diving/swimming living her best life - vs barely off couch hopping on 3 legs. My point however is this!: I’ve never seen a vet or staff make a dog feel so comfortable! Dr Hayes spent an hour making her comfy- espec w/exam, etc to where Mag’s was laying on floor, legs up for belly rubs! She didn’t want to leave! I am confident the surgery will be a success and I strongly recommend VCA Boone if you are looking for an orthopedic specialist. Expensive? Yes. Can you afford it and Is your fur-pet worth it? In my case I had to say yes. If you feel the same, then I strongly recommend Boone, Dr Hayes and her staff ❤️
