Buffalo City Vet Reviews
I first met Doctor Reynders a couple years ago. My dog’s tail got nipped pretty bad. My currentvet at that time, City Creatures (who I was with for over 20+ years), recommended that the tail be docked at a cost of over $3200.00+. After I gathered myself from almost passing out I asked if there was anything else we can do? The doctor gave me an ointment to put on my dog’s tail tip, and told me to come back in two weeks. As time went by it seemed like the ointment was helping but unfortunately you could still see the partial bone. After my two weeks, I went back to CC and told them that seemingly the ointment was working. They looked at Jits’s tail and doubled down by saying the tip needs to come off. I decided to get a second opinion, and the place I chose was Pet Degree, over on Clinton. I drove by them a lot of times in my travels and I guess the name always stood out to me. Here’s the kicker, I go in, meet Dr. Reynders for the first time, and right away I could tell that she was different—it was just a vibe I got. So Dr. R checks out my dog’s tail, as she’s looking, I’m chirping how disgruntled I was with CC and their absurd pressure and price they were putting on, and giving me. Dr. Reynders, laughed and said that’s crazy, and to continue on with the ointment and his tail will be fine. Sure as shit, ten days later my dog’s tail was A-OK. Pet Degree charged me nothing for telling me the truth and I’ve been with them ever since. The best news was they moved into a second location, closer to me on South Elmwood. So I now take my two cats and my dog Jits to them and I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend Buffalo City Vet/Pet Degree.

Any interaction I have with her shows me she actually cares about your pet and not the money in your pocket (which has not always been my experience with a past vet I dealt with in the past in elma) she is very knowledgeable. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. Literally can't ask for more. Friendly ppl who actually care and know what they are doing as well as reasonably priced! Thank you!
