Customer testimonials vividly illustrate the exceptional level of care and profound compassion provided by Carolina Veterinary Specialists Charlotte. One incredibly grateful pet owner shared their experience: "My great dane is currently here, I cannot say enough good things. When we got there last night, they were waiting by the door for us. My dog is in critical condition and they have not left her side. I just went to see her. And Kayla was on the floor right beside of her and not one time the whole time I was there. Did she leave her side. (She's in the floor because she's so big and they have her a bed made right beside them so that they can keep an eye on her at all times.) They have kept me updated every step of the way and every single person I have talked to is so nice. They also saved my male great dane's life a couple of years ago. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are wonderful. Not one time, have they made me feel like a burden for calling or asking questions, and they have answered every single question I've had." This powerful account speaks volumes about the immediate, personalized attention, constant monitoring, transparent communication, and the life-saving impact of their services.
Another client's review further reinforces the hospital's excellence: "Dr. Miller and the hospital staff were professional, courteous, and in some cases incredibly sweet and caring. I know they took great care of my dog while he was there, and we saw our regular vet today and she thought the tests, treatment, prescriptions, and assessments of his condition were appropriate. Bandit is still on the mend but CVS were there when we needed them, and were careful not to go the surgery route without positive confirmation that it was actually needed. Thank you Dr. Miller and team!" This testimonial highlights the professionalism, the careful and appropriate diagnostic approach (avoiding unnecessary surgery), and the seamless collaboration with primary care veterinarians, all while maintaining a sweet and caring demeanor. These personal stories underscore why Carolina Veterinary Specialists Charlotte is a vital and trusted resource for North Carolina pet owners in moments of great need.

Jul 01, 2025 · Jennifer WeiWe came in on a memorial day about 930 at night? Our puppy was sick. He ended up having Parvo. Very deadly to dogs They took really good care of him. They kept me updated. They answered my phone calls. They let us come see him. He was in isolation so we could only look through the glass, but we still could come see him. He came home in three days with an amazing antibody shot. I highly recommend them and I’m very thankful that they helped save my puppy.
May 29, 2025 · Jill CloudDr. Joseph performed tests to determine what was wrong with my cat and I believe she saved his life. She was kind and a good communicator and listened to my concerns. She gave me options. Macklayne went the extra mile for his comfort since he had to stay there. My cat is sensitive and fearful and they gave him a box in his cage to hide in and even let him watch birds on YouTube when I explained that was a favorite past time. They even let us come visit to encourage our sensitive baby to eat (and let him hang out in his box). The front desk staff were kind and efficient also. Emergency care is expensive and I had to leave a big deposit but they were fair and when I left I have a credit back to me for services not needed afterall. I have used the township location many times unfortunately for my special animals, and I am glad they are there to help in emergencies.
Apr 18, 2025 · Sharon RuizWe had an emergency situation with our dog Chloe. The entire team was tremendous. She had to stay in the hospital for 2 nights and the vet techs never acted as though they were being burdened by my calls to check how she was doing. Drs. Miller and Hofmeister updated me regularly and answered all of my questions. Chloe is back home for now and we will consult with Dr. Cortes next week regarding Chloe's needed surgery.
