Their ability to provide explanations and ease concerns during medical problems (as noted with the Beagle) highlights their thoroughness.

- Dental Care: Professional dental cleanings under anesthesia, extractions of diseased teeth, and oral health assessments to prevent and treat periodontal disease, which is crucial for a pet's overall health.
- Nutritional Counseling: Guidance on appropriate diets, weight management, and specific nutritional needs to support a pet's overall health and recovery from illness.
- Pain Management: Developing individualized plans to manage both acute and chronic pain, ensuring pets remain comfortable and maintain a good quality of life.
- Pharmacy Services: An in-house pharmacy for convenient access to necessary medications, prescription diets, and various preventive treatments.
- Microchipping: Permanent identification to help ensure lost pets can be reunited with their owners.
- Compassionate End-of-Life Care: Providing gentle support and guidance during the difficult decision of euthanasia, focusing on peace and dignity for the pet in their final moments, and offering immense comfort to grieving families, as powerfully attested by clients.
- Referral Services: For highly specialized or complex cases beyond their general practice scope, the clinic would typically refer patients to veterinary specialists, while maintaining communication and offering support, as shown with Peanut's cancer treatment.

Dec 01, 2024 · Dennis SlagleI reviewed Family Veterinary Hospital of Stone Ridge2 years ago. It was a 5 star review then, and if it could be higher today it would. Dr Hendrickson is the most compassionate veterinarian I’ve had the pleasure of visiting with. My previous review told of an emergency with our older English Bulldog. This review is very similar, as it was an emergency with our younger bully. We again arrived without an appointment or calling, as it was an emergency. We try not to make a habit of this as we know they operate on a schedule and their time is important. Though we showed up unscheduled, she seen him as if it were a routinely scheduled appointment and there was no feeling as if we were inconveniencing her in the least. It was not a quick appointment either. We were seen within 5 minutes of arriving and there was over an hour invested in the exam. She didn’t rush in the least. The vet techs, admin, and support staff are all friendly and professional. We lived in the area and stumbled upon this gem when we had disappointing care at a chain veterinary clinic. We moved away, but Dr Hendrickson and her care are the reason we drive over an hour to seek care, and will continue to. Thank you 🙏 Al is already feeling better and on his way back to his normal self.🐶🐶🐶🏥🏥🏥
Jun 29, 2025 · Chris WelchWe bought a puppy and she couldn’t be in better hands. The first time we brought her in the vet he spent almost an hour talking with us about what to expect and patiently answered all of our questions. The staff are also awesome!Definitely do the annual plan, it includes a ton of stuff and helps to mitigate any unforeseen costs.
Jun 13, 2025 · Eric A.We have been taking our Havanese to Chantilly Animal hospital for several years now. He has gotten excellent care. About two years ago, our dog got very sick. They were so helpful and followed up with us during his recovery. We recently were in for an annual check up. Dr. Latour was very compassionate and gentle with our pup. He spent a lot of time with us, answering all of our questions. I highly recommend this practice.
