Everyone there really takes the time to explain everything to you and your family and will give you every option available for your pets care.We drive about an hour to have our furbabies seen by her. It's worth every mile driven to have our animals feel safe. Gizmo always roams around the exam room with 0 fear!
February 04 · Jayme WagnerDr Miller and her staff are the kindest, most compassionate vet and techs I've ever had. They made the experience of palliative care for my dog, Angel one of reassurance and strong team support. I only wish I had discovered Dr. Miller and team when I adopted my older girl. Dr. Miller is a holistic vet, specializing in nutrition, which is why I sought her expertise.Yesterday, my girl earned her wings, and I'm grateful for Dr. Miller and Michelle's guidance, understanding, and thorough explanation of the process, and for allowing me to spend as long as I wanted with my baby. It's never an easy experience but I know my girl was in good hands. I felt supported and was even offered hugs, which I gladly accepted.Thank you, Dr. Miller, Michelle, and Katie for compassionately guiding me through this past month's journey with Angel. You are a blessing!
April 27 · Leslie Anne MalachThe vet is very knowledgeable. The staff are very helpful and kind. I have a dog that needs a special diet. They have helped maintain her status with minimal medications. And has been weened off all medicines except one... that one has been cut in half. With fewer vet visits and no surgeries. My fur baby looks and feels much better! :)
December 27 · Kate D.These people lie and do not care about animals. We were told that they would euthanize our old and sick dog. My wife spent days before our appointment under the belief these were her last days with our dog. When we arrived at the appointment, the secretary had us sign the euthanasia paperwork and choose which memorative paw print style we wanted. We were still being led to believe that our dog was going to be euthanized when the veterinarian came into our room. We asked to have an exam performed before just to confirm our suspicions. She confirmed our suspicions and told us our dogs illnesses were not curable, but she would have to run a bunch of tests to find out what medications she needs. Since our dog has walking pneumonia, a heart murmer, and collapsing trachea, among other issues that aren't curable, we decided to move forward with euthanasia. At that point, the veterinarian and secretary said they could not euthanize without exhausting all options to make sure she was terminal. We were left completely confused because we were not told this when the appointment was made. Why would they have us pick out a paw print memorial and sign a euthanasia consent form before "exhausting all options?"" We should have been told that they would not even consider it until they ran tests and we tried every treatment possible. We paid for her appointment and left appalled at the entire experience. After calling another veterinarian, we were told this is not a normal experience and they would move forward with the euthanasia for us. Go somewhere else where they actually care about the customers, pets, and people.
February 12 · Josh FeldnerDr Miller has always been wonderful to us. I’m more of a holistic person myself and she’s always been great about giving options for holistic supplements vs standard medications, explaining our options, educating us on the right decision, and no judgement on the route we take. They are a successful practice so they do get busy, so there has been a time or two I’ve had to call back, but they’re human and I can see when we go in how many people they are working with at a time. She always takes the time to explain things clearly with my pets, and has shown them and my family a lot of empathy and understanding.Recently, we had an appointment for our cat with a suspected UTI and when we arrived home, our 16 year old dog was in rough shape and it was time. Creature comforts did us a HUGE favor and allowed us to come early with both our pets, so we could get our cat taken care of right away and put our dog down so she was no longer suffering. I consider that to be above and beyond because I know how busy they are and they were absolutely free to turn our pup away.Dr Miller had already given us an extra 5 months with her by successfully treating her with antibiotics and holistic pain meds when she was on deaths door last time. We weren’t sure what to do with her at the time, but Dr Miller said “just give her a week, if she starts to perk up a little, great, and if not, we can have the other talk” so that’s what we did and sure enough, we were given that extra time with her and she was happier than she had been in awhile with her pain properly managed.Be kind. This place gives so much to the community that they have every right to set boundaries with how they are spoken to and treated. They have the lowest prices in the county with the best care. I’ve been taking my animals there for almost 10 years at this point and have always been impressed by the level of care we’ve received.
