Gettysburg Animal Hospital Reviews
First time of taking 2 kitties into their office together. The appointments went smoothly. The vet answered my questions. The cats loved the attention of the vet and staff. The staff was very kind. I was given estimates for the next appointments. My kitten had opened the cabinet door and tried to hide. Giving my older cat a med prior to the appointment helped him be more relaxed for his appointment. He didn't need a face muzzle this time. They both received vaccines and had nails trimmed.
Feb 19, 2025 · Janet ThomasNew to the area and based upon reviews went to Gettysburg Animal Hospital. Our first visit went well with the exception of a 40 minute wait. Our second visit for a vaccination booster was beyond HORRIFIC. Claire literally drug my dog into the back and then all I could hear was very loud yelps over and over. Claire came out and I asked "was that my dog?" she replied "yes...she just lost it". WOW=#1 my dog has always loved going to the vet and groomer. #2 Claire was obviously very aggressive with my very passive dog and should find a new profession. As a result of this experience I will be finding a new vet.
May 13, 2025 · Kim GaussoinWe went to the Gettysburg Animal Hospital in an emergency for our beloved dog, Sammy. He injured his hip and his old vet at the Emmitsburg Animal Hospital just wanted us to put him down. Sammy is alive and well due to the care he receives at GAH! Thank you so much for helping our dog.
May 13, 2025 · Jason ShindledeckerGreat care for our animals. They take time to explain everything and all the docs and techs are very personable. I would have given 5 stars but my only complaint is that they are rather expensive.
Feb 19, 2025 · don lubinI can’t say enough about Gettysburg Animal Hospital. Their staff is SO patient and understanding especially with my frantic worries the past couple of weeks. They are kind, they listen and HEAR you, they are beyond helpful and they keep their word! Also I have been taking punk to see Dr jones, who has been amazing with all of us. She is so smart and kind and really doesn’t push things that aren’t necessary at the time. I really appreciate that. She fixed my 19 year old best friend and I am furrrrever grateful. So glad I picked your team to doctor my senior cat. Thank you so much.
