These commonly include:
Wellness and Preventive Care: This fundamental aspect covers routine physical examinations, age-appropriate vaccination protocols to safeguard against common diseases, and microchipping for permanent identification. It also includes essential parasite prevention and control programs (for fleas, ticks, and heartworms) and often incorporates nutritional counseling to support healthy weight management and dietary needs for pets.
Sick / Illness Exams and Treatment: Comprehensive examinations and diagnostic workups for pets experiencing acute illnesses like vomiting, limping, skin issues, or more complex chronic conditions. The goal is to accurately diagnose the problem and provide effective treatment plans.
Diagnostic Testing: Equipped with in-house laboratory capabilities to perform blood work, urinalysis, fecal tests, and other essential diagnostic screenings, providing rapid results crucial for timely diagnosis. Diagnostic imaging services, such as digital radiography (X-rays) and ultrasound, would also be available for internal assessments.
Surgical Procedures: A range of surgical services, from common procedures like spaying and neutering to various soft tissue surgeries (e.g., mass removal, foreign body removal). Given Dr. Lopez's background, advanced procedures such as laparoscopic or endoscopic surgeries might also be a specialization, offering less invasive options where applicable.
Dental Care: Comprehensive dental services including professional dental cleanings, extractions for diseased teeth, and guidance on at-home dental hygiene to prevent periodontal disease, which is vital for a pet's overall health.
Emergency and Urgent Care: While not a 24/7 emergency hospital, general practices typically offer urgent care services during their operational hours for pets requiring immediate attention for sudden illnesses or injuries.
Pain Management: Development and implementation of pain management plans for pets experiencing acute pain from injuries or surgery, or chronic pain associated with conditions like arthritis.
End-of-Life Care: Providing compassionate support and medical assistance during the difficult time of a pet's end-of-life journey.
Pharmacy: An on-site pharmacy for convenient access to prescribed medications and necessary preventatives.

This transparent communication helps pet owners understand their pet's condition and make informed decisions, which is crucial for building trust.
Compassionate Care During Difficult Situations: In cases of pet injury or serious illness, the staff and veterinarian are noted for being kind, helpful, and supportive. This empathy during stressful times is deeply valued by pet owners.
Friendly and Helpful Support Staff: The entire team, from the front desk to the veterinary assistants, is generally described as nice and very helpful, contributing to a welcoming and comfortable environment within the clinic.
Focus on Pet Improvement: The positive outcome for pets, such as a dog "doing much better now" after a spinal injury, highlights the effectiveness of the care provided and the dedication to patient recovery.
Policy on Owner Presence in Exam Rooms: It is important to note that, as indicated by a specific customer review, the clinic may have policies regarding owner presence during certain examination procedures, particularly in light of health guidelines like those related to Covid-19. While some pet owners prefer to be present at all times to soothe anxious pets, potential clients should inquire about and understand these policies beforehand to manage expectations.

Had to take my dog in to see the vet after she ran full speed through her dog door and hit her spine on the top of it. Everyone there is always nice and very helpful. The vet was amazing and explained this to me clearly about options to see about her diagnosis. She is doing much better now!
Feb 27, 2019 · Shelby MarkovicDisappointed... We have a sweet female dog that we called to make an appointment for a check up and an ear cleaning. My husband specifically asked to be sure that my husband would be allowed to be with our dog during the entire visit because she would be very scared and she would resist restraining her the way they would need to. The receptionist said that is no problem at all.We had an 8am appointment and we were told to arrive early because we were new. We arrived early, the doors were locked, we waited. We eventually got checked in after some regular guests were helped. We were taken into an exam room with an assistant, we were told that she was going to take our dog into another room to be examined. My husband mentioned that we asked on the phone before we made the appointment that he will need to be in the room with our dog to keep her calm. The assistant said we don't allow you to do that, the girl that said it was ok on the phone was wrong. She said she will go ask the doctor if he would be ok with that. She returned fifteen minutes later, stating the doctor said he is not comfortable with being in the room together because of Covid-19. That was the excuse. We did have masks on the entire time.We left very disappointed. We felt they did not care about the animal, because our dog would have had to be restrained much harsher than if my husband would have held her himself to help keep her calm.We love our girl and just want her to have as easy and comfortable as possible experience in a strange Scarry place. 🥺
