★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- My fur son Java had to stay here for 7 nights and almost 8 days. He had eaten part of a towel/blanket at his boarding place when we were out of town and we took him here, they did multiple x-rays and really monitored him well. He is back to his normal self! He seemed to love this place and I love Dr. Roberts. She was very informative and positive. Though my husband and I came in the first day in so much despair and sadness that he may need surgery, she took it day by day with us by not jumping to surgery since he was getting better and better. The staff there is super friendly, and Jean, who is pictured here putting Java back in his kennel who took them on walks and cooked for them was so helpful, gracious and kind. Java seemed to really like her and she even offered to make him an omelette with the stuff I brought him because he was having issues with eating and she was so kind to him and I can tell he really was comfortable there and was well cared for. Also I noticed that Jean and whoever else there kept the facility really nice and clean. Java had made the floors all messy with his slobbering and when I left for a walk with him and came back, she not only had emptied the trash already but also mopped up the floor. I am so happy we discovered this place and they will be our vet for our dogs. Thank you Animal Clinic of Boardwalk Square!!! March 21 · Abby Le Ha
- I cannot say enough good things about this practice! Our dogs are a big part of our lives, and our family. it takes a lot for me to have full confidence and trust when it comes to them and their care. Dr Roberts is an amazing vet and has surrounded herself with a first class team of people who know animals and what needs to be done for them. They have been amazing at taking care of my two Goldens and reassuring me through all of their care! If you’re looking for a vet, they are the best in Kansas City. January 17 · Belinda Mascher
- I've found Northland in my veterinary search for titters testing and holistic medicine. They are fairly hard to beat across the board in my experience of several vets in the northland. I believe my previous vet might be cheaper but they don't offer all the services and honestly I didn't trust the knowledge base like I do with Dr Roberts. That being said, price is still very good comparatively speaking to vets in the area. I have an allergy specialist that has completely disagreed with my previous vet and totally approved of the medication this vet has given my allergy boy. The bedside manors are solid. Over all, I think you would be hard pressed to find a better vet in the area. March 04 · Jerah White
- We have been coming to Dr Amy Roberts for several years. We travel fulltime in our RV and come back here once a year to see Dr Amy. This morning when dropping our dogs off for a procedure Dr Amy told us the company just FIRED her!!!! We took our dogs and left. I have no idea what happened. Dr Amy is amazing. But this was handled by the company so unprofessionally. I hope Dr Amy finds a new home that appreciates her. Our vet tech was awesome but the office manager has an attitude problem. October 16 · Jackie Stimpson
- The Vet was awesome but the receptionist was far from kind. We almost walked out of the appointment due to her attitude. I was there to help my dog with his anxiety and she was beyond disrespectful to our situation. I kept him in the car until they were ready for our safely and others because he can be reactive and I’d would much rather be safe than sorry, she proceeded asked me if I brought my dog with me in a mocking tone. When we brought him in he was terrified (probably sensed this woman’s horrible attitude.) and we tried to ease him in and she gave him no time at all and pointed at the scale and again spoke to me like I was stupid. Before we even brought him in she told me that she’s just gonna take care of everyone else in there before me because of our “situation.” I told her that I take full responsibility for his behavior and am in no way trying to make it anyone’s problem and but I am here for a solution but she ignored that response. I’ve taken my dog to this vet since he was a puppy and never expected to be treated this way. The vet helped and completely understood dogs situation and gave us the help we needed. Despite that no one should ever be treated this way, most owners with reactive dogs are already ashamed and feel as though they are limited with what they can do with their dog, we don’t deserve more shame. I hope no one has to deal with her behavior the way I did. October 08 · Jess Ramos
