I took my cat in October to have her shots updated. The lady doing that was great and nice. A red headed guy filled my form out. I never received it through email. I tried multiple times to contact them. Sent a Facebook message. Called multiple times on different days. Left a voicemail; voicemail message said I would be contacted in 24 hours. Never received any response. I had to go back to the site and request in person. Then I’m told her form did not have any information on it but I was in the system for that day. I mentioned that they did not respond to multiple attempts to contact and was ignored. I appreciate the services offered but communication needs A LOT of work. - Kathleen Hogue

Pet Med Mobile Introduce

Hello, South Carolina pet parents! In today's fast-paced world, finding convenient and affordable veterinary care for our beloved animal companions is more important than ever. For residents in and around Columbia, South Carolina, Pet Med Mobile offers a unique solution by bringing essential veterinary services directly to communities, making pet health care more accessible than traditional clinics. This article aims to provide you with a comprehensive overview of what makes Pet Med Mobile a valuable resource for locals seeking efficient and cost-effective care for their furry family members.

Pet Med Mobile operates with a mission to provide high-quality, preventative veterinary care in a convenient and affordable manner. Unlike a stationary animal hospital, Pet Med Mobile utilizes a mobile clinic model, moving between various locations on a set schedule. This approach is specifically designed to meet the needs of pet owners who may have difficulty getting to a traditional vet clinic due to busy schedules, transportation issues, or pets that experience anxiety in a typical clinic setting. Their focus is primarily on routine wellness, vaccinations, and basic preventative services, ensuring pets get the foundational care they need to live healthy lives.

While the mobile nature offers immense convenience, it's worth noting that communication can sometimes be a challenge with a high volume of clients and a mobile team. Pet Med Mobile strives to manage these aspects, but pet owners should be prepared to be proactive in following up on requests, such as for records, and understand that immediate responses may not always be feasible due to their operational model. They are dedicated to improving their communication channels to better serve the community.

While Pet Med Mobile operates as a mobile service visiting various locations throughout South Carolina, their primary contact address is 2116 Clemson Rd, Columbia, SC 29229, USA. This address serves as their base of operations, particularly for services on Fridays. However, it's crucial for pet owners to understand that Pet Med Mobile is a traveling clinic. On Fridays, they are typically local in Columbia, SC, while on Saturdays and Sundays, they are mobile and travel all over South Carolina.

To determine their exact location and schedule for a specific day, pet owners are highly encouraged to check the Pet Med Mobile website or their social media channels. Their schedule is updated regularly, outlining where their mobile van will be stopping. This mobile model makes them highly accessible across different parts of the state on weekends, bringing veterinary services directly to communities, which is a significant convenience for many South Carolina residents. They recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before their scheduled departure time at any given location to ensure service. For any record requests or to inquire about their current location, clients can text their dedicated cell phone number.
