★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I recently got a new puppy, and her first exam was today. She was having a couple of shots. I go in the back room and she took my puppy to check her for worms, and I heard her yelp like she been dropped; and then one of the people that works there brought her back to us told my puppy sorry and my puppy looked like she was scared now unlike she was when we first brought her in. We went to pay and it came up to be 72 dollars more than what they told us a few hours before. As soon as we had finished paying we were told to move out of the way in a really rude way while we were trying to put our change up. That's just outrageous. ☹
August 15 · Cymbrelee SpurlockAlways treated well, listened to and questions answered. Bruno is well loved and spoiled here too!
August 19 · Cally HThey took in a momma cat and 2 baby kittens we fount. Nice people and place.
April 26 · trina DiBattisteI give 5 stars to Smith county humane society for helping me pay for my cats spade surgery!! She did good except for when she came home her incision looked bad, reddish and an area where the skin was puckered up and slightly open. Over a few days the little reddish area looked worse and more opened. They told me to bring her back after looking at the picture, I did, they put 2 staples and gave an antibiotic shot and an e-collar. Charging me 80.00 for something that could have been prevented! Now a few days after staples they took fell out! I refuse to take her back unless she begins an infection!! They didn't take me back with her to discuss what needed to be done so at that time maybe they would have said this will be x amount of money but nope I had to sit in the waiting room. I would have chose a different vet if it wasn't for this was the one the humane society paid for half her surgery. I'm praying they pay for the follow up visit to fix their mess!! I don't have 80.00 and if I knew it would cost I would not have taken her in and done something different!! The pictures show the first one is before they stapled the tiny opening area, picture in middle is after the staples fell out and the last one is this morning.
