South Austin Cat Hospital Reviews
My adult cat had an issue with his eye. He was taken to a local ER and, thereafter an out of town vet. Neither gave a diagnosis to treat the eye. I desperately seeked a hospital/clinic that specialized in cats and came upon SACH. We traveled 5 hours to SACH in hopes to get an answer. From the time we made the appointment to the end of the appointment we couldn’t have been more pleased. In all the years of taking our pets to vets, this was by far the best experience for us and our cat. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Thank you to ALL the friendly, professional staff but a huge shout out to Brittany and Dr. Thomas. Your knowledge and skills helped to alleviate our concerns. Our cat was immediately diagnosed and was started on treatment. He’s now on a path to wellness. I will travel five hours again to South Austin Cat Hospital even for a thorough yearly exam because we know he will be in good hands with this A-team. Thank you so much for loving our furbaby as much as we do. ♥️
Jul 09, 2025 · Harley SThe team at SAHC is truly the best. The go above and beyond at every interaction to ensure the kitties have a fear free visit and receive the best care. I'm so incredibly greatful for the team any we'll be taking our kitties there always.
Aug 12, 2024 · Cecile LeanaSouth Austin Cat Hospital is wonderful. I recommend Dr. Thomas because she is amazing but everyone I have met has been incredibly sweet and clearly love cats. They keep you updated on everything happening with your kitty and are super thorough when going through aftercare.
Apr 22, 2025 · Sarah ClaypoolEdit: we sadly had to put our youngest down recently due to kidney failure. About a week later I got a card in the mail from SACH, and I'm pretty sure every employee signed it. This is what good people do, and I am so glad I found this veterinary establishment.I've only had good experiences here, but the most recent takes the cake.I had an appointment for my eldest baby later this month, but the other day I woke up and stepped in kitty puke, and found a mound of soiled carpet, very obviously kitty diarrhea.I called to talk to see what to do, and they were willing to take us ASAP for emergency care. And look, I would break the bank for Blair BiggumWiggums. But Brit actually found a slot for a normal visit just a few days away.Later, Brit called me to ask if I wanted a prescription for Blair to help with the gastro issues. She is doing so well. Keeping food down, more active, normal poops. I hope her labs are positive on Monday.Thank you for how much you care about your patients ❤️EDIT: We found out my eldest has a GI disease. Dr. Breitreiter has taken so much care of us. After months of figuring out treatment, my sweet baby angle is thriving. I don't wanna be too optimistic, but SACH has absolutely made me and Blair's life better.
Apr 21, 2025 · Rachel PhillipsIt's the only place I take my cats. There is so much love and kindness and tender care that they give my cats, and I do not trust anyone else. My cats are relaxed and happy. Very stress free.
