★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our dog 9 year old female mix always held her beautiful tail high with the festhers draping around her hips and down her hind legs. One morning I noticed she was not holding her tail high and looked sad. She was walking her normal and still ran. Her gaut was ok. She has arthritis so I gave her 2 baby asprin and watched her for a few days. By the 3rd day, she was crying, refusing to stand, and refused her breakfast, she is a dog that never, ever refuses food. We asked who was a good vet, and someone recommended this vet clinic. They are not good if I could give. 0 rating I would. The vet seemed very kiddish of Sadie, the vet tech was good and seemed to know more than the vet. We told them what happened and that Sadie is a sweet girl, not aggressive. The vet touched Sadie's hip, and Sadie screamed (a literal scream). The vet jumped back and stood away. The treatment plan was standard prednisone and pain med, what seems unusual was an adult size Neurotin 350mg 3x a day. With no Xray done or referral offered, we started to really question bringing her to the place. I mentioned I had another arthritic dog this happened to, and the red heat light helped. The response was odd. It was like they suddenly remembered about it helping. The machine and light were full of dust. They offered acupuncture and chiropractic care. I asked if they did an Xray prior to that care, they said if we wanted one. REALLY, that's a must, I thought, before manipulation. They said they would call in 3 days to see how she was doing and set up for the animal chiropractor/acupuncture person to call us on Monday. No call received, just a text with no response to me after I responded. Never did hear from the chiropractic/acupuncture person, no follow-up call. We had decided when we left, they were clueless about the treatment of injured animals. We won't be going back. We have adjusted things at home for Sadie to make her life easier, and I give her massages (she loves them).I would NEVER recommend this place or any they are affiliated with to anyone with a pet. AVOID them.0 STARS.
May 08 · Theresa Aldis-HendersonThey've taken care of my "fur kids" for the last 15 years, and I wouldn't take them anywhere else. They are knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. Dr. Margaret also is an animal chiropractor. My fur kid is getting older and has bad hips. My fur kid is so much better after a chiropractor treatment from Dr. Margaret!
