★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Always fast, always friendly. Only vet office my dog is not freaking out at the whole time. Dr.Hubbard is amazing, and ready to listen to your concerns. I highly recommend this office.
July 30 · Jessica DriskillSince VCA and VCA Airline Blvd won't answer me and keep hiding my comments, here we go. I also have all paperwork to support this review. Dr Carow was left in charge of my pup that was only in for a spay on Nov 5 2024. Shortly after drop-off I found out she is negligent, incompetent and dangerous. She said she weighed my pup before surgery and was 59.5 lbs. Wrong. Carow even told me " yes I weighed her and it was 19.5 kg". 19.5 kg is only 43 lbs and that still wasn't right at the time. Again, I have all supporting documents for this. My dog was given meds for a dog almost 20 lbs heavier, twice. Why twice? Because Carow told me the crate my pup was going in was NOT seated on the stand properly. So when she tried putting a drugged up dog in a crate, she couldn't support the 41.5 lb animal when it kicked which resulted in my pups Achilles Tendon getting cut and cardiac arrhythmia from over medicating her twice since now they had to stop the bleeding. Also verified by a third party vet. Instead of them doing the right thing and transporting her to a competent vet immediately, I get a call to do it. Thankfully Cove treated my animal with respect. I've had to take time away from work due to her needing 10 pills 3x a day. I'm the one doing her PT since the splint is finally off. I guess they think it's ok since they did bare minimum and paid the bill for what they did. They've offered no compensation for my time away from work because of what Carow did either. Honestly, Carow never apologized for her actions that resulted in this. A complaint is being filed with the vet board and she has been terminated as our vet. The staff there is amazing, but Carow, I would not recommend her or VCA to anyone. They over charge, hide negative comments and if you do a little research, VCA as a whole, is accused of abusing a lot of animals coast to coast and still tries to make clients pay. Thankfully there are much better vets, all the way around, in this area. Use VCA at your own risk.UPDATE: We are still dealing with needing monthly medication for my pup because she not only has some issues still with that leg but she (only 1 year old) also has developed mild hip dysplasia from being forced to wear that splint for months thanks to Carow not doing her job correctly. "Dr" Carow and VCA are still not responding, reimbursing or returning my messages so this will be going to court for the full reimbursement that they owe for their carelessness. Very very poor business practices from these ppl. So happy we have a better and much more competent vet now. My dog seriously has a poor quality of life now and has to carry her back leg a lot thanks to the negligence of Carow and being ignored by VCA for bills THEY'RE RESPONSIBLE FOR!!!!
May 13 · Brian SABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. First, my appointment time was 520. I thought it was 530, showed up at 526. They made me reschedule. All while offering no reminder texts/calls.I was cordial. I said ok, we’ll call back to reschedule (did they really just make me reschedule for being 6 min late? WELL IF YOU CANT DEAL WITH SIX MIN LATE, THEN DONT BOOK PEOPLE FOR THAT SPOT. ) I WASNT going to go back. Mainly because my normal place for my dog is the OTHER one. Well I call the other one and they are transitioning to be more of a hospital only type deal and that it would be better to try again at the other VCA (the one I’m leaving this review on.)So I schedule this new appointment for today LAST WEEK VIA ONLINE. I am including a text that informs me about my “free first visit.”I call, she tells me “we actually tried to call you to see if you could come in sooner because the doctor has left early.” WELL THENThey didn’t have my correct number, AFTER they texted my free visit coupon. If my first apt was 5:20… and two weeks later our appt is 5:00….. I obviously have a life. I couldn’t have done it sooner any dang way.I’m deeply disappointed, ashamed I offered a second chance, completely off-put by the way the vet/doctor/owner who decides when and how they decline appointments. I’m overly upset. The girl that answered the phone was polite. But the instructions she was given was absolute BS. I’m going to complain to the BBB next because WTH?Extremely unprofessional. My full name is on here and you now have my correct phone number that I gave the girl before I hung up on her. You can call me and I’ll tell you the same thing. I’ll probably add some sweet words though.Yall suck.
August 19 · Megan AnneThe staff and doctors here were very professional. The atmosphere was nice and clean. I was a bit concerned by the lack of recommendations for an annual blood work exam for my pet. I had to ask about it. Once I asked they told me that the cat's blood work needed to be completed annually. It had been 3 years since her last blood work.
June 04 · Jennifer CanupHad to bring my baby boy, Cashew, in to get checked out for a limp. I was very impressed with VCA staff. Savannah and Sherreda were wonderful checking us in and out. Tabitha was so loving to him, even distracted him with treats while Dr. Jennifer examined him. Chelsy was very informative with home care instruction. He was so calm during the visit which is not common for him. This will be his forever vet.
