Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota (AERC) Reviews
Everyone I interacted with was friendly, kind, and helpful. The vet was knowledgeable, helpful, and a good listener. The treatment plan was explained, and I was given time to ask questions and shown a visual of what might be helpful for me to have on hand.I wasn't expecting my dog to be taken into an area under the clinic's supervision for the waiting time. Since it was very busy in the ER it was very nice to be able to go home and return 2+ hours later to pick her up instead of sitting in a waiting room that whole time. The communication from the vet was thorough and friendly. Everyone who helped us was cheerful and helpful.
Jul 19, 2025 · Ann-Marie MageeI brought my dog (Yorkie) here early morning thinking she was having a seizure. She’s 13 and this is the first time anything like this had happened with her. I walked in the door with her and the staff at the desk were so kind. Of course I was a crying mess, and they understood. The vet explained what she thought had happened (Paroxysmal dyskinesia) a non life threatening neurological disorder that can just appear with no signs. The vet was so kind, explained in detail what I should look for going forward with Annie. Happy to say she had one more episode but is doing great. I really appreciated the kindness and understanding of the staff with an emotional pet parent at 3:00 am. Can’t say enough good things about this place.
May 20, 2025 · Christie ZEggroll was very well taken care of at this facility. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. The doctor was very thorough in examination of my dog. The care and concern from all the staff was reassuring and put me at ease. I also thought the cost was very reasonable for emergency services.
May 27, 2025 · Lori BarthoOur dog Georgia injured herself while en route to visiting family in Minneapolis. The team at the St. Paul location were very attentive to our needs and treated Georgia with so much love. Fantastic care from the whole team. Thank you!
May 17, 2025 · TC ClarkEveryone was super helpful and kind in getting our boy to feeling better, we were one of the more stable clients so we had to wait a little longer but they kept coming in to give us updates on when we'd be taken care of. The vet sat with us and made sure to get all the info in order to best help zeus and I appreciate that since in most times when it's busy at places, it's a rushed visit. Overall, it was a great experience for what it was and fingers crossed we won't have to but if our animals ever have to go back to the ER vet, I would come here again in a heartbeat.
