Charges 90 dollars for an exam where I get a flu shot for my dog and they say I have to get another booster flu shot in a few weeks as it’s a 2 part shot. They want another 90 dollars now to do the second part of the shot. To do a single freaking shot. They absolutely do not care about animals every experience on here is true do not come here. So many vets in the area that would never scam people like that. They deserve 0 stars.

Throughout the years, they’ve repeatedly referred to him as a female, despite me correcting them on multiple occasions. I let it slide because mistakes happen—but after my most recent visit, I can no longer overlook the lack of attention and care.Two days ago, I brought Coco in because he wasn’t feeling well. I was pushed—by three different staff members—to approve over $1,100 worth of tests for a 6-pound Yorkie. When the vet finally called me, she continued referring to my male dog as “she,” even after I corrected her more than once. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, she seemed irritated and rushed through the conversation. She clearly had no interest in answering my questions or easing my concerns.It honestly made me stop and think—how many times have they misdiagnosed him over the years? How can I trust that any of the medications or treatments they've charged me for were even necessary if the vet examining him can’t even tell he’s a male dog? It raises serious doubts about the quality of care and attention they’re providing.At this point, I do not feel comfortable or confident bringing any of my pets here again. The one bright spot is Frankie—he is amazing and by far the best part of that location. There’s also a very kind female employee (I wish I remembered her name), but sadly, the rest of the team has lost my trust.

They left me on hold for 20 minutes, and when they picked up again, they promptly put me back on hold.Terrible public relations from this group. Take your pet somewhere else. These people should be ashamed of how they treat the rest of us, considering the exorbitant prices they charge. I'm literally eating food shelf food this month so I can take care of my dog. At least treat me like a human being.Very rude.

My second opinion at the same vet only resulted in a tech who based Banfield continually to me and a vet who tried to convince me to come to her stand alone practice. I ended up at another location where my pup was properly diagnosed and the entire team could teach the Reston location a ton of lessons. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of the Reston location.

Last time I booked an in room comprehensive exam with a doctor few weeks in advance. When arrived, they told me the exam is gonna happen in a back room, it will be conducted by a technician, not a doctor. And btw they just removed my appointment from the account. Want to have proper in room visit? Sure, come on Friday (today was Monday). To remind you, I already had an appointment scheduled. I wanted to be done with all of that and agreed to wait in the lobby for my dog to be taken care of in a back room.Then I also told them three times that I brought a stool sample. They told me that it is great, yet never took it from me until they brought the doggo back. I told them that the sample is still here and they answered "oh, that's why we couldn't get anything from him [my dog]". Ironically, they have a banner asking owners to bring the samples so that the personnel would not have to perform invasive actions on the dogs. Yet they still did that to my puppy.Confronting them is mostly waste of time and energy, we've tried. So their service is constantly disgusting, the attitude is condescending, no apologies for their faults. The only chance for a good service is to have an in room appointment with Dr. Fergusson, she cares.Maybe they are overloaded by amount of work. Maybe people here don't earn enough money to care. But I am tired cutting them slack time after time after time, I have my own bills to pay, I have my work to do rather than spending two-three extra trips to a place like this where neither my dog not I are feeling welcome for only about $100 a month on a wellness plan.
