Dr. Moore and her team are amazing! They are so welcoming and attentive. They make you and your pet feel like family! Been twice already and can't imagine taking my fur baby to anyone else!

Apr 18, 2024 · Cindy CanalesOur rescue dog had heartworm and we followed the instructions Dr. Moore gave us with regards to her care. We did the antibiotics and made the vaccination appointment as her next step. They confirmed her appointment a day prior but the morning of we were called asking why our dog wasn't there because they wanted to monitor her. They failed to provide us with this info on multiple times. So I took off work and brought her in. I spoke with the "manager" Jackson who proceeded to tell me that it was my fault if I didn't ask what they required and when I attempted to ask a follow up he made a comment to the effect "it is your dog so it is your responsibility to ask the questions. If you don't care enough about your dog we will not take responsibility for what happens." Upon pickup we were told that the staff isn't trained on how to confirm appointment for vaccines and this has happened before..
Apr 08, 2025 · jeff rosenbaumIf I could rate this location more than 5 stars I would! We had a scare with my pup last night and were recommended to follow up with primary care. After his brother died suddenly, we were eager to be seen and were able to secure an appointment at Banfield in Olney the next day.Our pup didn't have any insurance or wellness plan and we were really unfamiliar with the whole thing. We made sure that we would enter the conversation guarded and not buy anything we didn't need, but this was 100% unnecessary. We saw Dr. Dluehosh and Alexia and Mandi. Dr. Dluehosh was extremely patient and answered every single one of my million questions, advising me carefully on what was best for my pup while also trying to make sure that I didn't spend a fortune unless it was absolutely necessary.Alexia also spent so much of her time talking to me about my pup, the various plans, and all the hypothetical scenarios I was cooking up.To say I was anxious before the appointment is an understatement. I left more relaxed than ever -- about my wallet and my pup's health because of the wonderful service that we received here. Not only were they amazing with me, but they were so nice with my pup! Benji was cowering in the corner when they first came in, as he usually does, and I was a bit worried when they took him back for his full work up (EKG, X-ray, vaccine, bloodwork, etc.). When he came back in the room you would've thought not a thing had happened to him.Lastly, the front desk staff (Kat and Jackson) were warm, welcome, and were the cherry on top of an already wonderful experience.Banfield Olney took care of me and my pup from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. I highly recommend!
Mar 08, 2025 · Julie NguyenOverall Banfield is a HORRIBLE and Rip-off Veterinary service. Inconsistant care and different doctors every time. Never take two minutes to review pet medical information before opening their mouths to suggest care. They always act rushed and always scam you out of money for medication refills. My dog has had a chronic ear infection since he was a baby. Everytime I inquire about ear flush to manage the yeast build-up, I’m always told to pay $50 for an ear swab EVEN THOUGH IT’S THE SAME RESULT EACH TIME. Nothing has changed since he was a puppy and he’s 8 now and they insist on charging me everytime. Did some research and found more extensive pet insurance options such as EMBRACE that reimburses for medical care and expenses. Just a few more dollars than Banfield (who doesn’t cover XRays or Cancer treatments btw) and my Golden Retriever has better health insurance than crappy Banfield. Good Riddance. I highly suggest people to research other Vet Insurance options for their pets. Banfield is a rip-off.
