★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- For a normal annual visit, this place is not bad. We have used Ivan for years though we recently got a 15 week old border collie blue heeler mix puppy and we brought her in with symptoms of not eating not playing sleeping all day and drinking crazy amounts of water And we were told by Doctor Who that she is just a timid puppy or has a sensitive stomach. They prescribed them an antibiotics And probiotics. And sent us on our way. We ended up having to visit urgent vet off Lee May ferry Road(Which they are incredibly amazing.) And they told us that there was more to it And we tried a bland diet.We ended up bringing our baby back to Ivan due to her symptoms worsening And they ended up scheduling us with Dr. Ivan Who I watched walk in the door While we were waiting for our appointment to go into the building. And he felt her abdomen and said it felt doughy, though performed no tests and decided to prescribe her Parasite medication. We asked for labs or imaging to be done, even if found unnecessary we were Willing to pay.And instead Doing those he proceeded to just tell us that she is timid and that we need to try And that the imaging and labs were unnecessary. Two days after that appointment, our baby was unrecognizable And you can just tell something deeper was going on Taking her to Vss up in Manchester and the first thing they did were labs and imaging And turns out our girls Kidneys were 1/ third of the way developed From birth and all the medication they kept prescribing to her only worsened her kidney numbers. So we unfortunately, had to put her down though if this place would’ve given us what We wouldn’t have had to put our baby through so much.If I’m being completely honest, do not take your baby here if it is urgent. Though any people who do come to this The best and I hope your experience with them is the opposite of mine. June 24 · Amber Wolf
- Complete waste of time. I recently got a new puppy who had already had many of his vaccines and needed a few more (per breeder) so I called to make an appointment at Ivan since it was closer to our new home. On the phone I told the tech all of his last shots and the dates and we made the appointment. Appointment was today and they got us in and tried to sell me a $700 puppy package even though he already had most of his shots.. the real kicker was that after I showed his shot records they said he wasn’t due for anything. They said they’d “try” to see about waiving the bill because he’d only get to see the vet. Try? Without a doubt they should. Their error was not going to cost me. They waived the visit, but it was a total waste of my time. We’ll drive the extra 10 mins and go to our old vet. Can’t believe the incompetence of the front office staff upon booking. - Dr. Laura Ivan is a great vet, and I trust her care for my basset hound. She takes time during the appt to thoroughly care for her animal patients and to touch base with the humans of these furbabies.I highly recommend Ivan Animal Hospital! February 27 · Joyce Slatton
- They saved my 8 week puppy. If it wasn’t for them she would have died. Thank you so much. June 26 · Amelya Flores
- Our dog was not well and in pain. We did not have a regular vet but needed help. Dr. Ivan and the staff were kind and understanding. They were gentle and patient with our tears. Due to his size and amount of pain, Dr. Ivan got down on the floor with him to ease him gently from this life. They are amazing. March 26 · Donna Powers
